Winn-Dixie — Local services in Holly Hill

Update 12/31/2021 = I'm so sick of complaining about this store. I wish I could find a store that had deli cooked fried chicken as good as theirs. Today, in Winn Dixie on Nova Rd, I had to plead with a cashier (older female caucasian) to put her mask on her face. She gave me excuses that she's vaccinated, that she only wears the mask for us etc etc. I had to say please do it for me because I don't want to get sick. She finally did it reluctantly. Now you see why yesterday Florida at 44,000 new covid-19 cases!

Update: 8/31/2021 I just found out from Winn Dixie cashier that she is not vaccinated. Therefore Winn Dixie does not make their employees get vaccinated. Therefore all the newly covid 19 infected people could have gotten sick from all the hundreds of Winn Dixie stores in the entire state of Florida. If this latest news does not make you wear a mask and get vaccinated, then you are crazy! Crazy and need Jesus! Last week I went to Winn Dixie on Nova to shop and I was standing in line at cashier. I noticed the blonde cashier lady had no mask on her face so I switched lines. The new line had a masked brunette lady working the cashier. It was not until I put my groceries in front of her that I saw an unmasked young man bagging the groceries at end of cashier row. I was trapped in the row and had to pass closely pass by this unmasked Winn Dixie employee. This is unacceptable that the only unmasked person I have had contact with is one that got my money and could have gotten me infected with Covid 19. This young man had no mask, no gloves and no social distancing. Sooo...I advise everybody before they go to Winn Dixie to think of other grocery stores instead. Or at least look at cashier rows when you first come inside to see if cashier and baggers are masked before you even think of shopping at Winn Dixie. Aldi has ALL masked cashiers and been like that for a year and half. They just dont have fresh fried chicken like Winn Dixie but catching covid 19 and dying for...

Well, I have something to share with you guys. That may or may not surprise you but I am obsessed with grocery shopping. I love buying fresh produce. I love looking to see what's new for product's and I tell you all this. Because when Dixie does a very good job at displaying nexplain, new products and providing us choices with buy one, get 1. Or by one, get 2 no, I'm sorry, that's the other way around. Welcome 22 thousand twenty four it's by two get one free now! oh lord! Nevertheless, customer service is on target. The buggies are always available even though they're Slower than molasses and molasses is pretty slow if you ever made Home made beans. Plenty of parking. I have the same problem with this door as I do with publiloop in that. They don't have my candy and you know what happens when I don't have my candy. If you've ever read my previous reviews I go bananas! Plenty of fresh produce Stewart is large enoughfour a fish department. But now everybody is doing the same thing and that's packaging all Protein with the exception of publix. When dixie has changed there Prepared ready to pick up department? I call it in that they package everything now. Including their famous Chicken salad, which is delicious. Just eat it right away in the first 34 days. You get it, otherwise the main goes bad quickly. Winn dixie is right across the street from Where I live thereforethe convenience of location draws me back week after week. The problem with grocery stores is. If you don't eat before you go, you buy probably close to twice as much as what than what you need. Because there's still is growling the entire time you're there. But that's okay because once in a while. I'll open up a bag while I'm there and of course pay for it on the way out. That's only if i'm...

The quality of service I received today is absolutely atrocious. This Winn-Dixie is in the way home so I decided to pass by today and do some shopping for dinner. Once at checkout, I was NOT greeted by the cashier who was too busy with her AirPods in on her phone the entire time. The young lady on Register 2 at 6:19 PM today 03/05/2024 found it more important to look at her phone with a yellow case (yes, it was so obvious I was able to see the case as it was directly in my face) instead of assisting a customer. When I asked her to confirm if a product was BOGO L, she very bluntly answered “Mhm” in a way that made it seem she was being interrupted. The manager clearly doesn’t care because the young man in the Express lane ALSO had his AirPods in. It seems to be common with the cashiers at this location as you can go at any given time and notice them with their AirPods in the entire transaction. It’s a shame because I used to work for SE Grocers back from 2017-2019 down in the Miami market for the sister company “Fresco y Mas” before becoming a Manager at a big box store.
