I visited the Target in Charlottesville Va., Picked up numerous items had asked several people on my way to check out about helping me find a certain amount gift card, could not get anyone to help me! I went to self check out and the register paper was low and the young girl came over and put paper in it and acted like she couldn’t remember her code to sign in so then I had to wait on her to do that, then so I looked at a little redheaded guy with the beard working and asked him could he help me find a gift card, he says ma’am we’re already closed, And this was while she was putting paper in the register. so I just grabbed two others. Then when I scanned the gift cards in, It had asked to scan something else Another code, The little redheaded guy had such an attitude, I said you know what, just put all the stuff back I’m not getting nothing! He said awesome not being sarcastic like now I have the stuff to put back awesome like that I wouldn’t get anything, he was happy that I wasn’t getting my items. He was the rudest person I have ever come across, then I asked to speak to a manager and a young girl named Nicky came up to the front and she was just as rude as he was because I asked her about his name because I was on file a complaint and I said he does not have a name badge on, she’s like I can’t give you his name I said if he had a name badge on I would know his name. She didn’t offer to help either with the gift cards....nothing when I said I just put my stuff back because he grabbed all my stuff and transferred it to another basket so while all this is going on ice cream was melting everything. I just feel sorry for whoever buys the cold stuff that it sit out that long. Then all she said was no apology or nothing what door are you going out, I’ll let you out the doors were open anyway for the construction work that’s going on in the store. I told her I was going to file a complaint she said nothing.... nothing at all! This was the worst experience I’ve had in target and I probably would’ve spent $300 that night but target better do something about it’s employees because they are supposed to have name badges on and maybe their managers need more training because you don’t treat...
Read moreI have had multiple bad experiences at this target. It is not organized very well. Although, it is a super target they are consistently out of items. The inventory never matches up with what is online. I usually get nonverbal dirty looks from the people wiping off carts. I’m not sure if they are unhappy with their jobs or mad that I am a nurse in scrubs going to target before I go to work lol. Also when I shopped the 90% off Christmas sale today... literally all of my items were 90% off, but I had five small peanuts Christmas blankets (literally had Santa clause hats on them) that were not ringing up at 90 % off. The cashier told me that the managers weren’t coming (umm ok?), and when I told her that they were a part of the christmas sale, either 90 or 70 percent off is what the sign said - she proceeded to ask another employee who could not have been a day over 19 how much they were. The young woman said “they are the price they are when you scan them” - Please tell me why every other Christmas item in the store is on sale except for Christmas blankets? And also target has things marked wrong all the time and is happy to fix it at every other location I’ve been to. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the C’ville Target. I would like to get treated like an equal, or at least a paying customer, at a place where I spend thousands of dollars per yet at. I recommend Ritz Carlton training for...
Read moreI recently accompanied my dad to Target to assist him with returning a vacuum cleaner that he had purchased and found satisfactory. Unfortunately, he misplaced the receipt for the cash purchase. My dad is often preoccupied with work and tends to overlook such details. During our visit to the Target location in Charlottesville, we encountered an employee named Michael, whose behavior left much to be desired.
Michael’s customer service was extremely poor, and he displayed a rude and impolite attitude towards us, which was quite disheartening. While I was discussing alternative options for returning the item with the assistant manager, Michael resorted to creating unnecessary drama by making inaccurate comments over the walkie-talkie. He claimed that I was still "fighting" with the assistant manager, despite our conversation being entirely peaceful.
In my opinion, employees should strive to maintain a safe and calm environment for their colleagues, and refrain from causing discord or engaging in gossip over communication devices. As a customer, I strongly believe that Michael should work on improving his communication skills, avoid making accusations, and adopt a more respectful approach when dealing with challenging situations that he may not be fully...
