Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Charlottesville — Restaurant in Virginia

Spent $26 in here that I'll never get back! Please take your money elsewhere. The owners of this Dairy Queen know NOTHING about good customer service! I was so humiliated after dining there. First, I changed my mind about part of my order BEFORE he ran my card. It happens! The male owner seemed to be bothered by this. Then I asked for honey glazed chicken strips and I clearly said, "just like my daughters" as she had ordered them tossed in the sauce. He brought them out dry with the sauce on the side. I sent them back and he was clearly bothered, again. The the final straw was when he had the opportunity to really be a good owner, I ordered a banana split but forgot it came with pineapples, which I can't eat. When I mentioned that I there was a problem he said " What do you want changed NOW, ma'am?" And goes on to say "you're going to have to eat it. Its your mistake and I'm not taking a loss." I said "its just peanut butter" (which is what I wanted instead). He says, "We'll you're going to have to pay for it. You changed your mind three times, I'm not making a new one!" I said "can I speak to the manager and we we won't be back." He hollers "I am the owner!" Attitude and service was stinking to high heaven at this point!! When I got ready to leave I pulled him to the side to say his service was lacking and he again brought up that I "changed the order three times" (which wasn't completely true, one time he actually got my order wrong!). I said, I'm trying to do you a favor and just telling you the way you treated me here wasn't nice and was uncalled for. He say's "whatever, don't come back!" So that landed me here, writing this review. Hopefully you won't waste...

Where do I start. We stopped by on our way home after shopping and we were starving. We ordered 2 #1's. One with extra mayo and one without tomato. We drove drove to the parking lot to park to eat before driving driving home. The one w/o tomato came ok but the one with extra mayo came out with globs of mayo inside and outside of the burger. It was disgusting. I finished mined and we got back in the drive through as the lo by was closed. Waited another 20 minutes to order another burger and we wedr VERY NICE ABOUT IT. We recieved the other burger checked to make sure there wasn't mayo globbed all over the birger and then we drove off. As wewe drove my wife bit into the burger and bit into RAW BACON. That's right RAW BACON!!!! This RESTAURANT NEEDS TO BE BE SHUT DOWN AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED!!!!!!!!! And the Heath Department will be called. I saw the dairy queen turn around and go back to it. I went through the drive thru on the board, and it had birthday cake confetti. That is what I ordered for my daughter. They said it was discontinued, then take it off the board. I ordered a dip cone. When I arrived at the drive-through, it took at least five minutes or more before they came on the speaker. They asked what I wanted. I was not impressed with this dairy queen because of the delay and the manner I was asked about my order.
