Third world country style managemt. No one here seemed to know where the thread to wrap tamals where, over 10 minutes to even get a poor skilled manager which at one point even thought he was deaf as he never said a single word. I actually had to ask an employee if he had that disability.
To sum things up 3 employes responses where.
I've been working here 7 years and i have never seen it in this store but if course i know what it is. I ask can you paged the manager and her response was I have no idea where he could be son.
That's the third time today I've been ask for the thread and I stock the shelves so I would know if we had it but honestly I've never seen it as part of our inventory. I know customers swear we have it but i have not seen it
We don't have that here but you can check with the dollar store they may have it but i can ask a cashier maybe she knows. The cashier says it may be near produce if we still gave any.
Finally I said if the manager does not know than it would be a problem so I had him paged. When manager Claudio arrived I explain everything along with the responses I received
He never said a word, simply looked at me started walking waving his hand to follow him. Sure enough it was on the botton shelf of a produce stand.
I went on to tell him he should train his crew or at least bring it to their attention in a meeting as to where the thread is. He said nothing. Honestly how can this individual even co sider himself a professional more less a manager. His skills are beyond a cleaning crew. It is a disgrace sedano's has this type of manage running their stores.
Honestly, I would never come here again and would recommend a different sedanos.
Very unhappy and dissatisfied customer that will never return to this store. ...
Read moreThis market has a cafeteria with Latin favorites like red/back beans, rice, yuca, ox tails, stewed chicken and so on. The selection could use some colored vegetables for more healthy choices such as carrots, mixed vegetables, or cabbage. These smaller chains of grocery stores tend to do a great job of squeezing a lot in a small a space, taking advantage of all the square footage available. Staff are friendly and all staff seem to speak Spanish and little or no English, what a wonderful opportunity for us non-Spanish speakers to practice or brush up on our Spanish: Donde esta el queso? There is a butcher’s counter to cut that fish, pork or beef just how you want it. The weekly specials are worth stopping by for regularly, especially the meat specials like the skinned and deboned chicken thighs. You can rinse these, trim any small pieces of fat away, season with your favorite seasonings, heat a little olive oil in a pan, sauté fresh onion and garlic, this will get the attention of others in the house with its wonderful aroma. Next add the chicken and enjoy the sizzle. Flip after 5 minutes, lower the heat and add chopped canned tomatoes and after 10 minutes on low and covered, pour over a bed of white rice with a side of mixed vegetables. Boom! A healthy low-cost and tasty meal. This store share space with a Bank of America vestibule, a Vietnamese restaurant, an auto parts, Family Dollar, Little Cesars, and Hialeah’s Vicky’s bakery is...
Read moreI had to update my review from 3 stars down to 2 and I was about to put 1. Absolutely disgusting, they had a molded bread in the bread section and we not talking about a small dot which shouldn't happen but possible... we talking about completely molded bagels and obviously mold will travel to other breads. Seems like they didn't care because I saw 3 associates passing by and I know they saw it but they didn't care to remove it. Only reason I didn't put 1 star is because they do have the potential to be better if they will actually treat the place better and understand they are selling to people and not animals. It was not the first time I encountered molded or expired food, but that was on another level! I got a Tres leches where the cake part had mold, I got Flan that seems like someone put a sticker on top of the old sticker and it was expired over a week prior me purchasing it, I ended up with a bad stomach pain and throwing up after eating the Flan and feeling a weird taste and when discovered it was already expired it was to late. I did attached picture of the nasty molded bread that was right when you enter the store for everyone to see,...
