Alaska Salt Co. — Local services in Homer

I've been buying from Alaska Salt Company for years. TL;DR: Their products are amazing and I'm a customer for life. Read on if you like details!

Let's start with the obvious, the salt. It's absolutely fantastic and I use it all the time. Everyone needs at least one bottle each of the balsamic salt and garlic salt! Truly, they're incredibly good and go well on just about everything. (While you're at it, grab a salt cellar or two to keep your salt in; you won't regret it.) Their spices are also super tasty. I have all three flavors and they are delicious.

Their non-food goods are incredible as well. My favorites are the bath bombs, skin care, candles, and ceramic mugs. The quality of everything is impeccable. The bath bombs are luxurious, and the skin care has my face looking and feeling incredible. The candles burn clearly and smell soooo good. And the mugs are absolutely beautiful, plus they're microwave/dishwasher safe. Score!

Gotta mention the jewelry, as I recently purchased two pairs of their earrings. No surprise, I love them. I get compliments every time I wear them, if that tells you anything.

Obviously, I could go on and on about this company (and I have, lol). When you add in their fabulous customer service and hilarious newsletters, you've got a company worth purchasing from again and again. You can't go wrong with Alaska Salt Co. I recommend them...

My family and I love your products! My husband has caressed his body with other body soaps and only found one previous to trying yours that doesn't dry out his skin. We all love the exfoliating effects of the salt in the body soap. I have enjoyed other native cleansers as well, but I love the shampoo and conditioner bars and don't plan to return to my previous products. I use less water rinsing my hair out. I plan to have scheduled orders of the bath products we use regularly. The smells are a nice balance and not too overpowering - unless one's olfactory is highly efficient. If that's the case, unscented options are available. My husband uses a variety of spices when cooking. We have enjoyed all the spit salts and blends we've experienced so far. I love my salmon (I'm an Alaskan girl, too) and the salmon belly rub spit spice is fantastic. Fireweed is my absolute favorite wildflower, so I love that there's a spit salt with that, too. Alaska Salt Co. is absolutely incredible! This charming boutique perfectly captures the essence of Alaska, and their products are nothing short of magical. The spruce tip salt is an absolute game-changer—I’ve been using it on everything from seafood to roasted veggies, and it adds the perfect touch of unique, woodsy flavor. I’m already counting down the days until I can stock up again.

The only thing better than their products is the service. The staff was beyond friendly and made me feel so welcomed. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do, and it shows in every detail, from the quality of the products to the cozy vibe of the shop.

I won’t be back until next May, but you can bet Alaska Salt Co. will be one of my first stops. I can’t wait to stock up on my favorites and discover what new treasures they have. This is a must-visit spot for locals and travelers...
