This has been for sometime that over and over , this business and specifically the owner Ted has billed me for supposedly time spent on diagnosing my mower when I specifically told them what I wanted done and fixed !! On more then one occasion I brought my machine in knowing what the problem was and specifically asked the business how much to fix !! After being told the price I decided it was way more then it should cost and I would come pick up machine !! When getting my machine I was told I had a bill for mechanic fee for looking over my machine ( which I told them I didn’t want ) so I was charged for nothing getting fixed and for the mechanic fee which I specifically said I didn’t want !! This company is taught by the owner to “ make a sale “ no matter what do whatever you have to do to charge every individual !! They are total crooks and it starts with the owner Ted over charging and charging for anything to make a sale !! The owner along with his workers are not there to help at all they take advantage of folks in anyway possible and they have proved this over and over to me and many others I have spoke to in the lawn care business !! I will never go there again and I would recommend you don’t go there and if you do just beware because they will charge you in anyway possible !! They truly are crooks !! They sell you machines that are under warranty , but when item breaks they tell it’s not covered when it is but they charge you and get the warranty from the company , so it is warrantied but they charge you saying the part that is broke is not warrantied !! This has happened on numerous occasions especially with echo items which they push because of the deal worked out with Echo !! Definitely needs to be shut down with the crooks they are lying and stealing from customers, I am definitely gonna make sure the public knows how they constantly take advantage and steal...
Read moreNice store if ONLY looking/shopping for new lawn equipments including arborist equipments.
Wouldn't recommend to bring it for any services as they wouldn't do anything (even they claim to be "authorized dealer" for certain equipments like Echo, Stihl, etc.) But being new to the area and owned my equipment for some time which I bought from another state and brought it with me on the move. They would not even "look or go near it" as it was not purchased through them. I simply wanted to get new parts for my weed trimmer by Stihl but wouldn't even bother with that as I called ahead to confirm they were able to do so. (Being an authorized dealer and able to access to getting/ordering parts or whatnot.)
They wasted my time as I live an hour away and been very cryptic over the phone or in person. (As aforementioned, I called before making the trip in, hoping to get parts needed for the trimmer, even the phone call was recorded and encrypted to typed format reading the conversation on my phone.)
Luckily, I contacted Stihl and told them about this situation & directed me to another business. They made the effort to contact them before I traveled to that business. (Stihl contacted the other business in my behalf, which was very helpful as I am new to the area.)
Only 3 stars due it's availability of lawn/arborist equipments and...
Read more04/21/2025 In July of 2018 I bought a Gravely mower and blower unit from Citrus Equipment in Lecanto at a cost of $$4,661. Over the next few years I paid $813 for repairs and service. When the blower unit was attached, (at the dealer), it was necessary to remove the standard plastic grass deflector and its attachment bracket. The blower unit is now inop, therefore, I wanted to attach the original grass deflector. The deflector was on the shelf where I put is, but there was no mounting bracked attached. I believe it was left at the dealer by mistake. If I had received it, it would have been with the deflector. I called Citrus Equipent and the lady I spoke with said she would call me back in 10 minutes, which she did not. I recalled and she said that they would not pay for the missing bracket. I asked, "Not even if it was most likely left at your dealership?" She said, "That was over six years ago." I asked, "What does that matter?" I must have stumped her because she did not answer. So, I said, "Thanks very much" and hung up. Bottom line they are willing to give up a customer because of an 18 dollar part. If you live in the area go to 'Lanes Yardware' in Williston for Gravely lawn mowers or service, much nicer people. ...
