You are correct, the building wasnât originally there the first time Israel showed up.
Size of building? You think I wouldnât know the size of the building I purchased and the fact that the concrete pad for the building was there at that time? I had all the paperwork, building specs, construction details and building drawings along with building permit right there with me. You pretend that with me wanting electricity to it, I would deny any of that if asked?
In fact, I provided Israel with a detailed plan drawing of the building showing location of windows and doors, indicating size of building and location of everything (lights, plugs, etc.) that I wanted. I handed everything to him where he had nothing to do but provide a quote.
The day I spoke to office personnel was not the âfirstâ time I had called them back. I used the contact information on Israelâs business card to call him about the estimate after having not received a quote. He answered personally and he indicated the estimate had been emailed to me. This is quite different than their story that an estimate couldnât even be provided yet. Israel said he didnât know what happened but then said he wanted to take a second look at the job now that the building was there. I told him he could do that without me being present and reminded him he needed a gate code to get to the job site. He remembered and said he had it written down in his paperwork.
Claiming the âfirst timeâ to hear back from me was not true. Maybe for the office personnel, but not Israel. It was the third time I called that I spoke with the office. Most people would have already given up on them, but Iâm at the point of commencing the work so I expected they could provide the quote.
Thinking that an estimate was laying around, or in some folder with my name, or something, I thought an estimate could be provided me. Instead, Iâm told that they would have to send someone else out there to look at the job because Israel no longer did estimating, he now worked with generators. I do have to take off work, totally unnecessary as I already had before.
If my frustration was interpreted as âthreateningâ, so be it. Everything is left to a personâs interpretation but the discussion I had with the office, (receptionist I guess) did not go as they claim in their response.
I did suggest the owner/manager expect an online review. At least I kept my word. It is sad that I even have to give one star. I guess one star is necessary to even leave a review.
I called Mr. Electric to come out and provide an estimate on connecting a newly built garage/workshop and a small office building. The contact was Israel Beard who came and met with me at the property.
After discussing the job, Israel said he would get back to me with the estimate. I waited and I waited and I waited for his estimate after having already received two other estimates. I was doing my due diligence in selecting three companies.
So after waiting weeks, I used the information from Israelâs business card and gave him a call. He wasnât able to provide much information as to why I had not received an estimate but said he wanted to make one more trip out to the jobsite and he could provide me an estimate.
So again, I have waited and waited and waited upon the second promise of an estimate. As of yesterday and having not heard again, I made another call to talk to Israel. This time, I got the office and was told that Israel no longer did estimating but now worked with generators.
So my question, after all this time of waiting on an estimate, was my information not passed on to one who now does the estimating?
I assure you, with my experience with Mr. Electric, there is absolutely no professionalism in their conduct. They state they live by a code of values of âshowing respect for all people, acting with integrity in all dealings and serving customers with enthusiasmâ.
Not one of those values held true in my experience. I urge you all to look elsewhere for...

Read moreI had several electrical issues I needed to have addressed. Mr Electric showed up on time. My electrician now is Jason with Mr. Electric. Jason gave an articulate estimate. He went above and beyond. Jason cleaned up after himself when his jobs were done. There was not a mess left behind for me to take care of. The gentleman and the lady that I spoke to when asking questions and setting up my appointment were very polite. I had to reschedule due to an emergency. They had no problem with that at all. Nor did they charge me for it. Once I was able to have Mr. Electric come to my home. They went over all of my electric concerns and needs.
