I used to live in this area and every Thursday night my mom and I would pick up Chinese food from here. No almost 15 years later I visited again and was so happy to see they're still in business with the same owner who even recognized me! This should tell you that they know what they are doing to be in business this long.

This is your standard American Chinese food joint. It has very little seating to dine in, but great take out options and lunch specials. I love American Chinese food and now after living in several states this place is still on of the best I've tried when comparing them to other Chinese takeout places in plazas and strip malls.

They make good food. Every time I've eaten there everything has been hot and fresh. I've never gotten food poisoning from them (like some reviews mentioned) and the owners have always been very kind.

Their boneless chicken tasted just like I remembered. You get two delicious slabs of fried chicken that are perfectly crisped on top of a bed of white rice. I asked for them to give me veggies in a brown/garlic sauce since this was something they used to sell over a decade ago and it was my favorite dish. I have not been able to find boneless chicken this well executed anywhere else. And I highly recommend you to try it.

We also ordered the sesame chicken and that was well made as well. The chicken had a good texture, tasted fresh and contained the exact amount of sauce. We also got a nice amount of broccoli with the dish and delicious pork fried rice.

Once again I don't know what they do to their rice, but this the best pork fried rice I've ever had. The pork bits are savory and tender with each bite of rice packed with flavor. I don't think it's salty, it's just flavorful and that's what I really appreciate about their food. Also they give you good size portions for the price and for instance, there's a lot of pork pieces and chopped veggies in the fried rice which is nice. Lots of places skimp out on adding ingredients to the rice.

Ordered 1 quart of chicken chow mein, which came with white rice and fried noodles on the side, 1 order of chicken teriyaki and one order of spring rolls.

Service was good. We ordered at the counter to take home.

Food: Chicken chow mein we ordered was actually a vegetable soup mostly cabbage and barely any chicken in soup broth. So, I called immediately as I thought I got someone’s soup and to ask them if they made a mistake and put the wrong food item in our bag. I proceeded to describe the texture and content. The owner / manager confirmed that this was indeed their version of Chicken Chow Mein. So , that was very disappointing!☹️ Otherwise, Spring egg rolls were ok. Teriyaki chicken was ok. Food was still a decent temp by the time we arrived home with it. A 30 minute ride.

Atmosphere: Typical take out Chinese food in a strip mall vibe going on. This is the 3rd time we have tired local take out Chinese and our first time here at Hong Kong. Perhaps opening the bag and checking everything before you leave may be the best approach or finding another place to eat?🤷‍♀️

I placed a take order 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday night, as I just finished working at Waterfront Social as a server (didn’t have time to grab food at work). They were more than happy to accommodate my order, had it ready in 10 minutes. The sweet woman who took my order and helped me at the register asked where I worked and I told her, and I wished her a Happy Chinese New Year for February (in case in didn’t make it back in), she wished me Happy New Year as well, and was so sweet. She asked that I come back if I enjoyed the food (my first time ordering here). As I’m eating, this is the absolute best pork fried rice and chicken and broccoli I’ve ever had!
