To best reflect my experience without coming across as emotional, I just want to speak in facts and allow any other couple to make a decision based on the knowledge, but I didn't want to let my wedding pass without saying anything.
The team supplied all decorations needed for the 19 guest tables at the wedding which saved us a lot of money, and they looked beautiful Our planner tried to save us money by bringing an extra team member to not need additional venue team members, it didn't work out but it was a great thought that would have saved a lot Our planning team said they would come to our virtual Zoom venue meetings, they gave an excuse for one, but never showed up to another with no reason Our team showed up 45 minutes late to our rehearsal, it was already over, with no clue who the bride was or what the processional was supposed to look like, and tried to take control over from who was running the process. It detracted from the moment for the couple and made the process more complicated The planning team told the couple not to worry about the permit for the first look spot. The couple made it clear this was important to them, they had touched base about it a couple times, a few weeks later when they asked about it, someone else had gotten the permit. There was never an apology. Just other spots recommended. When the bride asked what happened, there was never a straight answer. On the day of the wedding, the bride was told by two other vendors that the planner had never answered a single email, hindering their ability to do their job for the couple.
There are other small things, but I think a point has been made. Accidents happen, I'm not making any grand claim here - but please consider all options before signing any dotted line.

She seriously did so much for us it's impossible to list it all!! She was in control of everything and it all worked like magic. On top of the regular stress and chaos that can come with all the planning, a hurricane hit four days before our garden-wedding, Hope helped keep us perfectly calm through everything. We ended up having the most beautiful perfect dream wedding and it all felt so magical. We truly could not have gotten through our day without Hope, she is a star and I am so incredibly grateful for her!!! I wish she could plan everything for the rest...
Read moreI used Keep It Calm Events for my month/day of coordinator for my wedding that was on 4-1-23. Our coordinator Hope was absolutely great!! She was there to answer any questions I had along the way and I was even able to book two other vendors after asking who she might recommend (they were awesome as well btw). Hope made me feel very at ease the entire day of the wedding by communicating well with the other vendors, as well as setting up everything exactly as we had discussed. She even sent me pictures while I was getting ready at a near by location to make sure everything was looking how I envisioned. The entire day could not have gone smoother and it truly took such a load of stress off my shoulders. My husband even admitted to me that prior to wedding the day he thought having a coordinator was a "waste of money", but was eating those words after and said it was totally worth it!!
