I took my watch for a battery replacemnt, which was its first replacement today. While I love how nice the jewelers are, I did not like the outcome nor the initial response to the issue I had. My watch is rarely worn and because of that, before I took it in I noticed I still had plastic attached to the back of it. It didn't and doesn't bother me so I left it on. Upon receiving my watch back there was a scratch on the back plate. Which wasn't there when I handed it to the person at the jewelry store. I noticed this as soon as I got my watch back from the lady I gave it to, but tried to brush it off as it just happens I guess. I decided to go back and let them know about it because at the end of the day, if I pay for a service or entrust someone with my items I expect for it to be returned the way I gave it, if not better. I can somewhat understand marks where the plate had to be lifted on the side, I just don't understand why customers should expect scratches or marks to be made on other areas that aren't necessary where a lift should occur when replacing watches. I was told it happens sometimes, when I questioned that. I was also told they can polish my watch if I would like. I refused that service due to the fact damage was done and trust was somewhat lost after that. In addition to some denial and lack of ownership over the scratch. If it came in with plastic which has protected it from damage, and it didn't have any damage initially, and there was an acknowledgement that there was plastic on the back, using the plastic as an excuse of why a scratch is there isn't necessary right. Damage was noticed due to the plastic being lifted and an indented line being noticed in the area where the plastic was lifted to open up the back to replace the battery. I wish there was a better outcome and review for my first...
Read moreAwesome experience! If we could leave 10 stars, we would. My wife and I showed up at Anthony and Company today simply to have her wedding ring sized down. While we were there, we decided to go ahead and upgrade her original wedding set to a new band and a larger stone. After spending a considerable amount of time with my wife, they were able to show her a new wedding band and diamond that fit the original ring guard in her set. After being quoted a VERY FAIR price, Bryon told us that it would most likely be next week before he would have this upgrade completed. We were extremely surprised when an hour later he had someone call to inform us that the upgrade was complete! I guess the Anthony and Co. crew knew just how excited my wife was to get this much deserved upgrade. They carry customer service to a premium level at Anthony and Co. Jewelers.
I am proud to say that I will only do business with these fine folks in the future; when we have other jewelry needs. These folks are very down to earth. They ARE NOT high pressure sales people. They helped educate us, so that we could make an informed decision.
We thank for your time and prompt service! We will definitely be back, and send as many people we...
Read moreTerrible customer service. Went to the store about three weeks ago on a time crunch to order wedding bands. Megan was helping us and was great, willing to order a few bands for us to try on since we were not sure exactly what we wanted. She said she would call us when they came in. Never heard from her so we went to the store to see what the hold up was. The lady who helped us said Megan told her she tried to call us several times (lies) and they had to send them back because they can’t hold things for more than a month and it had been way too long. It was three weeks ago and this last never called us. Well then the lady says oh well she didn’t have a number for you let me get a number. Oh so now she doesn’t have our number but she called and left us several messages? More lies. All the while, Megan is sitting in the back relying this information to the lady talking to us instead of her coming to speak with us about whatever actually happened. We said we would take our business else where then and the lady huff and puffed at us and scoffed and said uhh okay then, like we were in the wrong. Very...
