QV Nails Bar — Local services in Hope Mills

Editing my review. Today 05/18/24 this has been ongoing each and every single time I do. I usually am if not The first One of the second people to come in Saturday. Usually to get a fill in and a pedicure. I can never and I mean never leave with having both services done. I legit came first thing this morning she sat me down for my pedicure and told me an hour wait time for my fill in. But when I first came in she said we can get it all done after another. This is every time I come in that I have to go else where for a service. I’ll call and call to try and get in later and still the same. An appointment doesnt make a difference either. You still have a to wait for someone to free up. The problem Is they do not have more than two people that do nails here they are the owners. Losing business over just this alone is so stupid. I really do try and over look stuff because things happen but this is every time.

A year old review : Leeeeet me be the one to say I would pay for top quality service & this right here is top quality service at an affordable price.. I was driving down hope mills road and spotted this gem. Told my self to go on google look at the reviews. Reviews were great but I feel like everyone’s experience is entirely different and this is how mine went.. I came in, let me say the decorations/place in general is GORGEOUS.. like that tik Tok audio “thisss is niceeeeeeeeeeeee” yes super nice. The environment to me was calming, mellow, quiet & just over all relaxing.. i was greeted and asked to choose a color.. within less than ten minutes the owner was seating me for my service. I picked the pomegranate pedi, about 45$ I believe (don’t really look at price but I remembered it. Well this kinda pedicure usually is an arm & a leg & your kids college fund somewhere else. So Seeing as it was 45$ this was the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten from here in Nc/WA best pedicure ever. The lady who worked on me her name was Jenny. She did everything right including the massage 😅 I wanted to take her home with me because she killed it! Over all the pedicure was amazing, the gel polish, the shaping of the nails, the time she took to make sure she got all the nooks & cranny’s off my feet/toes.. I was taken care of & it was everything . I would 10/10 recommend & hope fully my experience continues...

If they had zero stars, QV Nail Bar would certainly get that rating from me. Had an appointment for 4 pm. Was 15 minutes late due to traffic.My appointment was with Vee….never coming back I was told by the other nail tech that she took another customer because I was late and I would have to wait an hour before she was available. No worries…. I understood. What I don’t understand or appreciate is Vee not keeping her word. She knew I was waiting…never acknowledged me or offered to reschedule. I waited for an hour and a half. Not once did she call me but instead continues to take other customers. Usually, I would not wait that long but I was going out of town for an event and really needed a fill in and repair. After waiting, I realized what was about to happen….Vee was going to wait until almost time to close to tell me she could not do my nails. She should have said she couldn’t do them in the first place instead of say it would be an hour wait. By this time, it was too late to go anywhere else so no fill in or repair for me. By the way….they only have two people doing nails….makes no sense. To ignore a paying customer is to ignore potential paying customers. I used to refer people here….not anymore. I hope no one is ever late for an appointment with Vee. If so, prepare to be ignored or take your...

My last and final visit to this salon was a horrible experience with Lee. I don't bother anyone and mostly quiet. I was in tears after he scolded me for moving around and looked at my phone with the non active hand.

I did flinch when he used the electric file on my nail, as it was hot. In a smug tone, he said, "You're too sensitive." He seemed annoyed and overwhelmed as more clients were coming through the door. He then complained that I was taking up his labor time. I told him I was getting uncomfortable with the conversation and asked if could we move forward. I told him I came here to relax and enjoy time to myself.
