Underwater World — Local services in Horsham Township

I started using Underwater World a few years ago, after another shop serviced my dive computer that was NOT a certified dealer and left bubbles in the display. Underwater world (a certified shop) was able to rectify the issue and I have been using them ever since. I recently found out that my scubapro Galileo Luna dive computer battery has been discontinued (and is becoming very expensive to replace). I also had some other issues with the Luna within the past few years. Tim, send the computer to scubapro for service and after extensive review, scubapro could not find anything wrong with it. I was very unsure if I wanted to purchase another scubapro dive computer. After a long discussion with Tim; he lent me his Scubapro G2 dive computer for a recent dive vacation, so I could test it out before I decided on my next dive computer purchase. After using Tim's G2, I decided to purchase the Shearwater Peregrine dive computer from Underwater World. I REALLY appreciated how Underwater World went out of their way to assist me on making a decision on my next dive computer. My 17 year old son and I (40 y/o) took the intro to scuba and Open Water courses here so far. We worked mostly with Adam F. and Tim H., but we also encountered other Underwater World staff during each class as well as our check out dives. All of the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They absolutely supported any questions in class and throughout our learning process. Staff was super helpful even when they weren’t assigned to you that day. It was an incredible experience for both of us, but more so for me as I have previously suffered with panic attacks around not being able to breathe. Everyone made us feel safe and welcome and we will be taking any additional classes with them in the future. We are also looking forward to future dives with the company. When Scuba Instructor, Adam, met us two years ago, we had a goal of becoming certified to dive in the Great Barrier Reef. Well, because of Adam, we did that last week! We wanted to tell everyone not only because we successfully completed our “mission” but also to thank him. It was very evident that NAUI is way more about safety than PADI. Because of Adam’s training, we felt safe and that we could be the best buddies for each other.
