Brookshire's — Local services in Hot Springs Village

(Update below)Nice store and friendly employees. They really need to place the buggy corrals back. I've had to walk my buggy back inside the store the last 5 visits.(6 visits) tonight they were all standing at the register talking. They say that there are people to help you out with your purchase but not in my case. Very inconvenient to have to walk your buggy back in the store. I feel like I work there.

(Update)Again I would like to say that I love the store and employees but they need a buggy corral for those that don't have a employee to bring the cart back. I had a nice gentleman bag my groceries today and never offered to take my buggy out. This is a huge mistake to not have a corral. I usually park away from people because they are too lazy to put the cart in the corral. Since Brookshires doesn't have one that would be even more dangerous to leave a buggy in the parking lot. All it takes is a little wind gust for the buggy to be a torpedo in the parking lot. Please bring back some corrals since the baggers don't have the time to take the buggy out. I was shopping around 7:15 a.m. on 6-20-24 and I was shopping for products for my dog. Nevertheless, he was so nice a made an everlasting impression. Our talk made me feel great, as if I had known him for years! All I can say is thank you for helping find great things for my dog. Before it was Brookshire's it was Food Wise (owned by Cranford's). When Brookshire's first started it was great. A real grocery store. Everyone hated the Food Wise gimmick "add 10% at check out", and sales dropped drastically. Now Brookshire's is running a big gimmick every week. The "Buy one get one for 1 cent" scam. Just for one example, this week one of many items they ran were "Lays Classic Potato Chips - save $4.28". Problem is $4.28 for the 9.5 oz bag comes to 45 cents per ounce. 2 bags for $4.28 is a good price (22 cents per ounce), but there is NO WAY you come close to saving anywhere near $4.28. You can buy them everyday at Walmart for 25 cents an ounce. This scam won't work long in this Hot Springs Village AR market. Nearly doubling the the price then running a 1 cent sale is...
