The only reason I gave one star is because it wouldn't let me do 0. I was so excited to move in here .it was a very difficult time. My father had been in the hospital for a month, we almost lost him 3 times .Everything seemed to be so nice and had the property manager who helped would have stayed I am sure my experience would be better .First, they have no handicap access. My father was wheelchair bound at the end and I had to call an ambulance to get him to the hospital .They have no ramps anywhere on the premises .The second day I was here I got a call they were loosing my father so I very neatly had some boxes standing behind a chair I dashed out the door thinking the boxes would be ok till I made sure my daddy was ok .obviously not because when I got home there was a notice on my door . We also got a call from management about our little baby girl barking because she was alone in a new place, yet I hear constant barking and noises but never say anything because you never know someone's circumstances. Some one dumped all of my grandson's fishing stuff in the pond .2 poles, a tackle box, and stripped the fish he caught off the stringer. Told management and nothing was ever said or done. I do smoke and have always been respectful about it but when it rains I am not standing in the rain that's why I have an open breezeway but it seems it is just fine for my neighbor to do it but I got a notice on my door. We pay $800 a month to live in the ghetto .The goose poop is so gross and very unsanitary. There is trash all around the dumpster. It is supposed to be a gated community but anyone can get in. People go in and out the wrong gate management never says anything. If you are thinking of moving here I would definitely think twice. My father has passed so I will be moving soon. Thank God I only have I month left. Not to mention cars being broken into and stolen. Very unfriendly neighbors. There's no playground for the children. It's supposed to be a gated community but we have had random people come through our breezeway asking for cigarettes and digging in our ashtrays by the...
Read moreI lived on this complex for 3 years and while for the most part things were fairly comfortable there were instances that were not. The maintenance crew would use a gas operated leaf blower to clean the entry ways which would exhaust carbon monoxide fumes. These fumes would rise to the top of the entry way where the would collect and linger due to the lack of adequate ventilation and work their way into your apartment. When I brought this to the attention of the lead maintenance man it was like "OH WELL" that's how i'm doing it. I had also noticed passive smoke rising through the duct work from the apartment below and spoke with them about possibly having designated non-smoking apartments of which they showed no consideration. They also had absolutely no problem taking on extra charges to your rent yet after I moved out it took them over 2 months to refund my deposit while they were no doubt drawing an incredible amount of interest from my money over the past 3 years. They had told me that my refund check would be mailed on a certain day which it was not. My lease was up at the end of April 2014; I released possession of the apartment on or about April 20th,to this day I am still waiting for them to refund my money. In my book that makes them untrustworthy and I would not recommend...
Read moreI'm putting my most honest review that I can from living here for 16 months. Our first six months here were fantastic! Harps and the National Park College are accessible so this was a good reason to look into living for here for the time being in school. The neighbors were welcoming and the apartment manager was very welcoming for us to move in. We went ahead and signed another one year lease, but the neighbors that were originally there moved out, and we had several new issues come up with our new neighbors. Cigarette buds in the airways and the smell of marijuana, the neighbor below us having a dog that constantly barked at night, and having to avoid stepping in geese/dog poop in the parking lot is very annoying. Our lease is up soon, and we are looking for more competitive options because even with our student discount (which is why I'm giving an additional star), it's still not quite what you pay for in terms of apartment living. In terms of my first apartment, it's been a good experience, but I don't see myself living here long term. The new apartment manager Sharon is very kind, even though I haven't gotten to know her personally. Overall, not bad for the time since I've...
