harps today will never receive my business again, and I am offering a referral of not doing business with those that I have referred in the past. Today I was kicked out by approximately 7 employees because I confronted the bakery personnel whom I had spoke to on 3 occasions with ordering a cake for my 4yr old daughter. She took the order, corrected the order, and after the party received my compliant. And this is why.. My order was to be a strawberry filled vanilla cupcakes with whipped cream topping.? In a cupcake pull apart cake. It was to be Elsa themed. Specifically, stating that I did not want the cupcakes to look like individual cupcakes, but for the entire cake to be made of cupcakes in the shape of the number 4 if possible? When I arrive to pick up the order, there was a little over a dozen cupcakes in the flavor of vanilla and chocolate, and the shape of the number 4 looking like individual decorated cupcakes with snowflakes and a messy sort of icing with snowflakes thrown on top of that. Looked like my 4yr old did it. I picked up the order with the same representative that I had placed the order with? I asked her why it was not a cake? Why there was chocolate and vanilla on the tray? She had blamed the person who was making the cake? But I told her I made the order with you? So if you seen her, why didn’t you stop her? So we are going to remake this number 4 Elsa themed birthday cake for my daughter with no chocolate! Only vanilla? I return approximately 35 minutes later, as stated by the employee that she would have a different set of cupcakes made to correct the mistake. So we celebrate with cake only to find out, everyone is biting into strawberry cupcakes? Wait, what? We went from vanilla on the order? To vanilla and chocolate on the tray during pick up? Vocalizing to the person who’s correcting the issue I only want vanilla? With strawberry filling in whipped cream to look like a cake? So it can be a pull apart? Why am I getting strawberry cupcakes? I don’t understand why I’m paying a premium price for someone’s negligence and incompetence? The manager stood there and accuse me of insulting his employee because I used the word incompetent? Mind you I did not raise my voice. I remained professional I did not cuss Or become angry. I was simply stating that she had screwed up three times and that she needs to do a better job. And I was then escorted out of harps by seven employees because I stated factual information and overpaid for cupcakes that I did not ask for. I will be sending out the referral of not using harps for their bakery needs. The way I was treated was unprofessional, outrageous, and takes me by surprise? Especially due to the fact that I came professionally to state the facts and was kicked out of the store? I will never spend another dollar in harps for the rest of my life for the way they treated while talking to this woman about my cake order for the third time.. Without an apology folks.. I never wanted a refund? I just wanted to let her know she was wrong for giving me vanilla and chocolate and then the second time in “making it right” strawberry she never did the order correctly? And that she should pay attention when people place orders for the best customer satisfaction, and that was the moment I was escorted out of the business and if harps is the one reading this review, you might want to check your cameras to validate my review.. You might not be surprised to see what I’m saying is 100% valid and correct.. And 100% unprofessional on every single level of...

Frankly, I personally use Harps like a over stocked 7-11, because of limited walking ability, on rough days I don't hesitate to use one of the mobility carts or when I my expertise is needed for inventory time, haha ! The two most important things that I go to Harps is ( 1 ) the groceries, they just about always have exactly what I'm looking for, always very good quality ! ( 2 ) the MOST important thing is the employees ( please forgive me, I'm long winded and my memory is starting to fail, really) no matter were I go in the store it is just wonderful. Tammy, has been so helpful with me as fare back as when the store was in the original location, thank you so much for your kindness. Brad and Willi , Brad always polite and helpful bringing me to the item I needed, and Willi, what can I say, don't worry of course I do, one day I was using one of electric carts already had groceries in it and he pulled up next to mine with another one and started transferring the groceries into his, and I'm like a deer in headlights an I asked, okay....... what's up, he said that my cart was beeping, I said I'd noticed that , he said my cart needed to be plugged in, I said OH ! ( now why would I shop anywhere else ) Deli, Terrie, she is a true Harps employee, because she has put up with this........crusty old goat ! Daniel, when I come in through the gas intrance if he sees me come in around noon, without me asking , he just gets what I want ready, (can we say SERVICE !) and he is a new employee, I just hope that the showing of such initiative does not go unnoticed. Cathy, she is always so upbeat with the the warmest smile and laughter, she has even come out from behind the counter and give me a hug, just love her. Produce, before Bill retried he would research what I asked about and would get it in stock, like purple potatoes, now I'm blessed with Dorinda, she tells me when bananas comes in on thurs so I can get the green ones. Susan in the back has brought right to so many items and Jayson in the back, I could give you a long paragraph on how much he has helped me, primarily in the yogurts, really, thank you Jayson. Joy, she should be the Harps ambassador, ALWAYS so kind and thoughtful, and parting she has the most sincere smile, she is just precious. Ben was very kind with the offer of continued purchasing by the case like John and Steve did. I never heard of Harps until I moved to Arkansas and the original location on Albert Pike I believe used to be there only location in Hot Springs but I could be wrong. But when the upper management of harps got aggressive and started buying up property around town Indian movie Albert Pike location further out to what's known as the mountain pine Junction news on it's news Thornton Ferry location, they scored HUGE with me and also seem to have revitalized the neighborhood around 270 West at the Mountain Pine Junction. The past couple years Mountain Pine Junction has scene open a brand new bright and flashy grocery store chain in the harps the mood from the the now building that contains Atwoods another big plus answer Thornton Ferry location not too far from there and abandon former boat dealership has reopened as outdoor equipment dealer who also has ATVs and golf carts and across from him there's probably what I consider the best chicken restaurant in town in Chicken Express and so far the only location for that, sohar's has not only giving us very clean well-stocked well versatile alternative to going to Walmart, they'll also made a great contribution to revitalizing the area of Mount around Mountain Junction lots of new businesses opened up in the last few years he's before or after harps but great for the people living in this area. They have everything from a gourmet spice and Seed bar to a full-service Pharmacy and I smaller convenience store size section on the east side of the building for those who just wanted quick in-and-out for gas. The staff is friendly the selection is excellent and the newest and Flash the store is excellent any contribution if they made the local neighborhood is wonderful...
