i bought front wheel assemblies and took them to Wendell with a group of parts. they were never installed! they also kept my vehicle overnight without working on it or calling me to let me know they decided not to do the work. another time they didn't call when finished and kept it forever too. when i ask questions about repairs, i am rudely told 'i don't know' by Wendell. very very disappointed. REPEAT they kept my 4 wheel bearings at my expense!! i thought they had installed them. i tried for months to diagnose the noise i had thought was my wheel bearings. well IT STILL WAS!! now a good mechanic has replaced them and no more worry every time i get in my car. Months of Worry these people caused me! and great inconvenience by never calling when they were "done".

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TRUST. THEY ARE RUDE...

Was vacationing from Springfield, MO and the second day of vacation my alternator went out. How it towed to this shop obviously not being from the area had to just go to the closet place that could get the job done in time. After calling me to let me know it was ready, they said not only was the alternator bad, but they had to replace the belt, and tensioner. They charged me over $700. They got the alternator from Oreillys and marked up the part SIGNIFICANTLY. I think they took advantage of the fact that I was from out of town. This was end of July 2021. Here we are Oct 31, 2021...so 3 months later and guess what. The belt they replaced on my alternator is squeaking and bad. I had it looked at and it needs to be all taken apart and fixed. These people are crooks, and apparently completely incompetent. Do not take your vehicle...

Had my 1994 Jeep YJ towed by this dealer by his tow truck. The tow was handled really well ,and I left the Jeep with them with instructions to repair a gas line leak, a flat tire and to please check the brakes and clutch. Also asked Wendell (the owner) to drive the jeep and make it as safe for this old 80 yr. Old and his wife to continue running the backroads of Montgomery County. They were very busy, but to my surprise they had it repaired and safe early the next day. As usual the price for all services were very reasonable and better than I could have imagined. This is a very trustworthy auto repair center and again, we are very blessed to have Wendell and his staff in Mt. Ida. I truly recommend this business for...
