First time to this restaurant, we are from out of state (from Houston, TX) and extremely disappointed!!! I am a server and have been a server for years, and if we as servers or our host ever greeted guests/customers they we were greeted today.... we would have been terminated immediately. Your restaurant CLOSES at 2 pm, NOT 1:50 pm. We walked in after being on the road since 8 am and wanted to grab a bite to eat!! We are greeted as we walk in with the host saying “I’m sorry we close in ten minutes, if you know what you want, you can give me order now and we can get it started for you!! Ya don’t EVER turn customers away, just because you close in 10 minutes. As I mentioned I have been a server for several years and we’ve had people walk in 2 minutes before we close; we’re they turned away.... NO THEY WERE SERVED as normal! They werent rush in anyway!! As the owner, this is not good business and you need to serve the public up to the second you close!! Poor judgment on your host!! I have family in this town and I will be back in this town, but your restaurant will not get...

The rice was completely overdone mush and had weird veggies in it. Refried beans were overdone. The salsa tastes like marinara. Meat was completely unseasoned (salt is at least a must!), and dry so probably also overcooked. Guacamole salad is better without bugs in them and was recieved with no surprise..
The only thing we did appreciate on our plates was the queso, chips, the chili relleno and our drinks.
Customer service was pretty poor as well. We had to call them over, no one checked on us. Employees should not be eating in customer service areas- beside the drink machines, etc. Touched a trashcan and then went to scoop chips. Dropped silverware and just picked it up and put it back in the clean mix. Open food boxes to go, with flies in back areas. Bathrooms were not clean either.
The reception area looks great and festive, and this place was recommended by the locals, but if this is the Mexican food Arkansas offers.. This...
Read moreWe were here in 2017 after doing a crystal dig in Mt. Ida, and I’m still thinking about how great our experience was. I just ran across an old flyer that made me check to see if I’d ever left a review, because I wanted to. So here you go, better late than never: first, the place was just so visually fun! That was my first impression. Second, the owner (or manager?) who as I recall had a cast or something on his leg, was just amazingly nice and welcoming. Third, oh my God the food! Great to look at and so delicious we’ve talked about driving back from South Central Texas just to eat there again! We were in town for a short time, but did manage to enjoy eating there twice! Our first meal was a cheeseburger, which was amazing and unexpected at a Mexican restaurant. Our second meal was Mexican food and better than most, and I’ve had a lot living in Texas. I highly recommend you treat yourself to an excellent, memorable meal if you’re...
