A & O Cellular repair — Local services in Houston

Don't go here if you're black. Came in for a cracked screen. As soon as I saw him and was about to tell him what I needed help with, he just said "Thank you" while waving from a distance. Of course, I'm confused, so I look around and go "What do you mean?", he just says/does the same thing. I'm thinking there may be a language barrier. So I say "Hablas Ingles?", ask him if he fixes phones, and show him my Google Map to ask if this was the place. We finally start talking about my issue. He speaks perfect English. Gave me a quote of 260, and proposed to have it done in just an hour. Would be great, as it's cheaper than the other quote I got, but I'm gonna shop around some more to see if I can get cheaper, but also, of course, because I'm not supporting a business where the main person would just look at me and start trying to dismiss me. Only gave it above a one star because of the proposal, and if you're a primarily English speaker who ISN'T black, he would probably be helpful.

Edit: After thinking about it, it was a really weird and uncomfortable experience. No one should treat someone who just walked into their store like that....

They took 3 weeks to fix my husbands phone, when initially they told us it would take 5 days. They don't always answer their phones, not always open during regular business hours so they open when they want so don't expect to go to this store and expect it to be open. Unprofessional would be the word that best describes this company. Spend a couple of extra bucks somewhere else. Did I mention it's after 11 and I'm still waiting for them, so they...

Im a Dj and one of my laptops was not turning on. Google closes cell phone repair shop and found this incredible place. Call them up and asked if he repairs laptops as well, he said yes. Took over there and this guy repaired my laptop with hours. Saved me lots of money because i was planning to buy a new one. Made it on time to my event and had both of my laptops...
