LGC — Local services in Houston

This, is one of the most disorganized, disingenuous, and underhanded staff agencies that I have ever worked for. I was sent out on a job assignment with the understanding of my assigned job detail, pay, and work schedule. When I arrived, everything had changed. As a result, I was not informed of the expectations of my 'new' job duties or change of pay. I was given the assignment of a 'food server' that was okay until later on. Subsequently, I was asked to bus and wash dishes, and according to a co-worker, that was due as a result of me taking a 2 to 3 minute break, as punishment. I survived. When the event was over, the manager or whatever his title was, was not courteous or didn't care. I then had to break down equipment, package, wash more dishes, collect trash and load items on to trailers. Never, was I asked if I was physically capable of continuing and with my extra job expectations, I'm 66. While working, one of my co-workers almost fainted and almost collapse, as a result of exhaustion (lucky for her I'm a retired LVN and ready to assiste her.) I caught her just in time before she collapsed. Ultimately, I take responsibility for not being inquisitive and assertive as to what their expectations were of me. But in reality, as a staffing agency, they should have taken the initiative to answer any questions or concerns and inform me of any changes, aptly. LOL, now I'm wondering if I'm going to get paid at all. My advice, always ask questions! Be informed of exactly what's expected of you, in case you're incapable. If you sign with this agency, have nothing planned. All their work assignments are given to you, a day, or within a few hours before the initiation...

Not to long ago I was working with LGC hospitality I have work with the company for the last pass 3 years in Houston Texas sad to say but I decided two weeks ago not to work with the company any longer due payment error some how my pay check doesn’t show the correct amount of hours. I was patient enough to a point that I couldn’t do it anymore. I have work hard for the company I thought I was part of a team but instead they just using every one that comes there for work I have done enough for the company. Not everyone are bad there Ms Cam priest she is one of the good one. I am not saying the company is bad I am just couldn’t take the missing hour on my check or adjustment of the pay rate of the job when they need someone so bad to cover the shift they raise the pay then after you work on the job they pay less then when the calling you to cover the shift from 16$ to 14$ or 10$ I just couldn’t take it anymore of the lies. I Am Anna Clark and happy that LGC picked on me to be able to get me in on others jobs quick and fast. They offer jobs that pay reasonably as well they are willing to work with you and find you something that is flexible to your needs like myself. Considering I already have a full time job.
