1. It depends on what you're getting done. I did a blowout for straight silky hair and it turned out fantastic 👏. However the process is a bit much. After washing and deep condition, they put rollers in and have you sit under the dryer for about an hour and your kids as well. Maybe that's their secret to the silk 🤔 I asked about my extremely dry scalp that flakes and if they could recommend a product and place it on my scalp. I guess that part went over their heads because I got no response to that and left the salon with my hair dryer than how I came in.

2. The lady who did my daughter's hair burnt her ear, wasn't bad but still burnt. My other daughter was fine. I paid $160 for 3 heads, myself and my 2 daughters 7 and 9. That's very expensive. In the future I will certainly not take my kids there. As for me, I may return and update my review after my visit. I will wash, deep condition and oil my scalp first at home, then go to them for just a blowout. Which I'm sure they'll charge around 45 to 50 bux 😒.

If you're wanting an amazing blowout for silky straight hair, I recommend, but scalp treatment, you might want to go elsewhere or be firm with them about getting your scalp treated after the dryer.. Also if u have damaged hair a Keratin treatment would be great but it costs $250.00 and lasts for 4-6 months, depending on how often you wash your hair. I gave 3 stars because my hair is still nice and straight and soft days later and it looks absolutely beautiful.

UPDATED REVIEW: I am changing 3 stars to 4 stars because I did return a few times and I was satisfied each time I went back. I stand firm in saying that if you have any needs for your scalp. I came here because it was recommended as a salon like in New York. First off, I got a deep conditioner and they only sat me under the dryer for 5 mins. That should’ve been my first clue that this would not be a great experience. Next, the younger girl roller set my hair and did not comb through it or section it properly as you can see in the first photo. I tried to explain to her how to do it but it didn’t help. I then asked the guy at the desk who I assume is the owner to redo it. The second photo shows how a roller set is supposed to look. Lastly , I get from under the dryer and the guy assumes that I want my hair left with just the rollers taken out. The lady who ended up blowing my hair didn’t even use the proper brushes to roll my ends. I have been going to Dominican salon since a child. From new york to Atlanta Dominican hair salons I have NEVER experienced such a difficult time with getting what I paid for.
