Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Houston

Since COVID has hit and this location has decided to keep the lobby closed, their service has been horrible. The managing team keeps everyone going thru the drive-thru, making all customers wait an approximate 10-15 minutes before you even pull to the window to order, then you wait for your to be filled and pay for it.

What is so upsetting is that: If you plan on having all customers go thru the drive-thru, move with a purpose. Not all customer have the time to wait 10-20 minutes before being served. Have your staff wear a mask, if you are that concerned about COVID.

Shipley Donuts is a service base type of industry, which means you should be doing your best to service customers and get customers in and out. The decisions that have been implemented due to COVID, are not customer friendly and are not the best needs of business practice. It was also appalling to see that you worker inside the lobby was not wearing a mask but are so concerned about COVID. Plus, having 8-10 cars in your drive thru waiting, not during peak hours (10AM-10:30AM), shows how much concern you have for customers time and the customer service your store supplies to Shipley Donuts' customers.

I arrived 15 mins after this location opened or should have opened. Door was locked I checked the hours printed on their sign. The sign said they have been open for fifteen minutes.

I went to the drive-thru waited, waited, and finally honked. The lady who came to the window said they didn't have anything ready to sale me and shut the window.

Then I honked some more when she came back I asked her if the hours printed on the sign were correct which she rudely replied they were. So I asked if I could get a chocolate milk and wait for some donuts and was told the register was not ready.and I could come back later.

Arrived in the morning at 5.45am and place my order thru drive thru . When I wanted to pay for my doughts the lady refuse to take my money because the $5 note was chip at the corner just a little and they refuse to take the cash as it the policy but other Shipley doesn’t have this policy . The manager was too rude and unpleasant as she don’t even know how to talk . The food was horrible and the kolache that I bought was so dry and tasteless . Will never go back to the store as the food and the staff are so terrible . Please think before you order your food because even their doughts are...
