This place is horrible and I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I wouldn’t have even given them the one star if google didn’t make you! Where do I start? The apartments have no ac and we’ve called the city twice now. They just installed a window unit, which btw they only have two for the entire complex and what’s the point in paying $900 plus in rent with nothing to show for it? Their maintenance team sucks so bad it’s disgusting. They come by and always take a week after complaining just to say they have to order the parts!!! Seriously. In order to stay cool because I do have multiple sclerosis and the heat makes it worse I’ve ordered my own portable ac units and it’s upsetting because we’re a single income family and those things aren’t cheap and it’s still hot!!! I am going to continue to report them to the city until something is done. My lease won’t be up til October and It can’t get here fast enough. They will just shut the water off without notice of some kind, the wiring is backwards the doors are off the hinges. Now the front office staff is ridiculous. They are some shady ass people all of them including the manager. Please if you are considering this place run immediately you’re better off at the dump. It’s not worth your sanity, patience, money that you work hard for. They don’t care about you here and the only thing they understand and care to discuss is money!!!! Don’t do it to yourselves and have to put your family through this because it sad and I watch it everyday with all the families around me. So don’t worry about maintenance because guess what you are your maintenance. Forget about a intelligent conversation with anyone from the office unless their telling you new fees you have to pay. Walk past the pool wondering because it’s never open. And head into your hot ass apartment to become a bitter person. Welcome to your new Hell!!!!!!!!!!! Sadly the day we signed our lease there was a woman there screaming to us not to sign and to run quickly. I am still smh because I didn’t listen I thought the office was nice and I was in a tough spot at the time and had to move immediately. Now I look back and wished I would have taken her advice more seriously and maybe I wouldn’t be here now and a whole lot less bitter. Update 6/6/18 After spending our money on a window unit to cool the apartment down two maintenance men came banging on my door telling me they had to tak the unit!! Why the hellvwpuld I give them a unit I paid for??? I politely claim send the door in their face and two “supervisors “ showed up I guess anyone can be a supervisor these days!! 🤦🏾‍♀️ They tell me they needed to take the unit and became so angry because I can’t believ the reasoning behind taking my unit... apparently they thought it was theirs!!!!! Are you kidding me! The right thing to do would have been to ask hey did you purchase this yourself or is this ours? You would think that a competent staff would do so but not here they just come in like gangsters and basically burglarizing our unit!!!! This is insane I had to show proof of purchase and I am just livid. We try to do the right thing and these people are so shady and underhanded that it’s difficult. Have not had too many problems living here, but I feel that there is a few things that need to be done with this complex. First off, for the size of these apartment is not really worth the price. How are you guys charging 600-1500 sf apt and have residence pay within $900 and up for rent. Usually for these sizes the rates are at least starting at $600 and up. This really don't make any sense, I have found an apt rite across the street who is leasing an apt for $930 2b 2b 1033 sf with a washer/dryer not just the connections. Also there sewer problem outside the area that smells really bad. As far as parking, this is a huge problem. On my side of the apt there are only TWO visitors outside the gate. Your vehicle cant be on the inside pass 10PM or it will get towed. There is alot of ppl that live in this complex that iam am pretty sure that have family and friends coming over and may spend the nite. NOBODY should have to worry about there car getting towed or broken into if parked out on the street knowing that this place is not in the best of the best neighborhood. This complex is gate card access only no code just the card. I understand this for the safety reason, but in some situation this can become a problem in a emergency situation, or for visitors. Unless you are the type of person who like walking all the way to the gate to let someone in, not convenient at all to me. I understand that the complex is under alot of renovation, but i just ask for the construction worker to please be mindful of dropping nails and glass on the ground. Worst apartment I have ever lived in!!! They take for ever to fix things. On top of that our apartment was infested with roaches and when we contacted the office about it the manager was very rude. Our AC broke in the summer my apartment was 98 degrees inside and they said they couldn’t fix it because repaired person only came every 2 or 3 weeks. On top of that they would come into my apartment while I was at work without my permission. They wouldn’t leave a note or anything I would find my stuff moved around. The neighbors would drink and smoke outside my door being loud late at night and the office wouldn’t do anything they would leave beer cans all over my front porch. When we moved out we gave them a 3 month notice and they said once we turned in the apartment they where going to give us our deposit 60 days after well it has Been over 3 months and they have not gave us our deposit yet! We contacted the office and they keep saying there going to call us back well we haven’t received a call so I personally went up to the apartment and the manager pretended that he couldn’t hear us and I was told by the front desk employee that she would give me...
