Taqueria Los Nopales — Restaurant in Houston

Decided to give this place a chance, Food good enough (keyword enough) not the best, had better, I'll say, I'll be back one day for the food but that's just it the Food only, that's why always take out, my gripe is the service, I can't say she was rude but she definitely looked a bit on the miserable side or at least annoyed that I was bothering her by ordering lol I didn't catch her name but she was wearing and orange shirt I think the waitresses wear purple, she was the one at the register, No smile, no "Welcome to Nopales, How may I help you" she could careless if I was there or not, when the food was ready she didn't let me know immediately, I was sitting there and she was waiting for me to look at her, she could easily have walked to the table I was sitting and gave me my food smh I'm sure if I was white they would be on their A game smh, I'm Hispanic as well and I was speaking Spanish for their benefit, some of our people need to do better with our own people, just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, If the food wasn't decent enough I wouldn't go back, with that being said it'll probably be months or maybe a year before I go back,...

The only good thing was the food. The waitress had a bad attitude and seemed like she didn't want to attend us and she was pressuring us to order as soon as possible when we were not sure what we wanted yet. The food didn't take long to arrive and was good but the only big complain is that when we paid and we were waiting for our change they took forever like we waited for 15 minutes and she still didn't bring us our change. We left and decided that she should keep it because she probably needs it more but this is the second time they have done that . Like why try too keep the change when we can tip you .idk this is my last time...

Really surprised me this place was so rude. I was polite, I smiled and I tipped and still the cashier just seemed bother by me being there to place my to go order. I won’t return it’s about the third time I’ve came in and I just do not feel welcomed. Not to mention on one of my visits they brought extra food that I did not touch because I did not order it and when I let the waitress know she told me that I would have to pay for it because it was ordered from my table.
