Where do I begin..... I had been craving the Whopper Sandwich for almost 2 months. Finally, I decided today was the day I was going to have the delicious, juicy, perfectly layered Whopper. I get to the drive-thru order box, and the screen is out. I was under the impression that it was out of order. I pull up to the 1st window and was greeted politely, and told them their screen was not working. All of a sudden it started raining doen pretty hard. So we were both trying not to get wet. I told them I was getting 4 burgers by themselves and not the combos. 1st order was the Whopper without cheese for my wife. Then I re specified. 2 Whoppers all the way. One with cheese. One without cheese. Then I ordered my son's burger. I asked for the Spicy chicken sandwich plain and dry. Finally I ordered my other son's burger. He wanted the Whopper plain and dry just cheese. After about 8 minutes they brought me the burgers in the bag. I grabbed the bag, closed the window, and drove off. Thinking I should check because it doesn't matter what restaurant you order from, the orders are always messed up. But after a 14 hour workday, I just wanted to get the food, go home, eat with my family and relax. We sit at the dining table to enjoy our burgers....The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was a Fiery Chicken Wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and mayo. Furious I threw it back in the bag, jumped in my car and came back to the store. I addressed the issue that te order was supposed to be a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, PLAIN AND DRY. The cashier turned around and told the cooks and the manager who was also in the back that the order was Supposed to be a Spicy Chicken Sandwich Plain and Dry. The cashier reiterated that the manager was going to make it for me. I said thank you. 5 minutes go by, I see a cook working on the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, trying to make it perfect with lettuce, tomatoes mayo bacon. The manager corrected him and said it didn't contain bacon. He steps aside and the Manager takes over making the Sandwich. I called the cook,"My man, is that Spicy Chicken Sandwich for me?" He gave me a yes nod. I gave him the cut throat jester with the words, "No it's not!! I asked for the Sandwich PLAIN AND DRY!!!" The manager chimed in and said" Nobody told us thst!! Why didn't they put it on the prompter that way?!" I told the manager, ma'am, your cashier told you when I returned the wrap that it was plain and dry. So she processed to remove the condiments from the Sandwich and asked a third time, just plain and dry?? By this time I was already fed up. I raised my voice, it's not that hard, just the Spicy Chicken and bread, that's it!! She was going to wrap it in the same paper, but at the last minute reached for a clean burger wrapper... The cashier retrieved the burger from the complete chute, and turned around and gave me the burger. I told her if I could please have a to go bag. Furious I drove home to give my son his Spicy Chicken Sandwich that he had asked for, and sat down to eat my Whopper Sandwich all the way with cheese......only to my surprise they made it plain and dry just cheese..... I guess it is Rocket Science....At least my wife and my kids got there's correct. Well, minus the second...
Read moreI placed an online order to be picked up through the DRIVE-THRU. Every other location I’ve went to, when you place an online order you go straight to the window. However this location seems to think the rules of being a Burger King franchise do not apply to them. When I got to the window I could clearly see the whatever he is standing there. I honked my horn three times and he completely ignored me. I went around parked and went inside. I asked him if the drive thru was not being answered. He then proceeded to tell me with the nastiest of attitudes that since I didn’t stop and allow him to speak over the loud speaker he chose to ignore me at the drive thru. So you chose to ignore me and not service a paying customer which is your JOB, because you felt slighted about me not stopping at the speakerphone? He then told me that online orders had to be picked up In store. Once again I have never had to do this at any other location. I asked him well why do they give you the option to go through the drive thru if you have to come inside to pick up Your online orders. He then walked off and told the cook to start my order. Which was supposed to be ready once I got there. I collected my bag and left. I only went to this location because they were cheaper and had sent me a bunch of coupons, however after that experience coupon or no coupon I will NEVER go back to that location. He was not only rude but entitled as if he was the owner and could choose who and when he wanted to service people Based on his feelings. I did not get his name as he had on a dirty shirt with no badge. However he was very big in size and had braids in his hair. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.THE FEW DOLLARS YOU SAVE ARE NOT WORTH THE HORRIBLE TREATMENT YOU WILL RECEIVE.BURGER KING IF YOU BY SOME CHANCE COME ACROSS THIS REVIEW PLEASE HIRE OTHER PEOPLE FOR THAT LOCATION. I have numerous friends who have had the same experience with that same man at that same location. Either cut out the rotten fruit or continue...
Read moreI went through drive-thru tonight and ordered a whopper and a chicken sandwich. Mind you I was the only person in drive-thru, yet I was asked to pull up front. As soon as I parked the cashier was at my window with my order, so I did not need to pull up front for any reason other than not to see them pull old food out of the chute and add fresh lettuce and tomato. I only stay 1 minute from the place so I drove back to the place and went inside to speak to the manager. I asked if I could have some food that didn't look like it had been sitting up for a while, and she proceeded to tell me that it was fresh. That is when I had to let her know that I managed a Burger King for 10 years, and I know what fredh looks like. Why is it not policy to serve quality food? Knowing if they were fixing it for themselves it would be of the best quality. Everyone there looked like they slept in their uniforms. The young black guy in the kitchen even tried to give me another old piece of chicken, and the manager screamed at him to drop a fresh piece smh. Mind you the two cars in drive-thru got served old chicken, and I can only imagine how pissed they were when they finally sat still to eat and found that dehydrated mess. The whole crew from the manager down needs to be fired. Precooking way to much product. It goes bad and they want to serve it to the public. My store never served expired food to the customer. Serves no purpose but to upset people spending their hard earned money knowing most will bring it back and ask for a refund or fresh food. Putting it in waste from the start eliminates frustrating...
