Mr. Robert Young of Robert Young Salons is an exceptional stylist. Robert used to do my hair years prior, but due to COVID and several deaths in my family (including my father), I needed sometime. After grieving I was ready to focus on my hair again. However the salon had moved locations. I kept looking and finally by the grace of GOD I found the salon's new location and contact. Robert welcomed me and was glad to hear from me, and even worked me into his schedule....later that week.

I got a virgin relaxer after being natural for several years. The relaxer did not burn at all and Robert did not yank my hair impatiently like some stylists do, when they're combing thru your hair. Robert protected the integrity of my hair by only leaving the relaxer in long enough to process my hair, and I was still left some wavyness in my texture. Robert also explained what he was doing during each step, and what the product he was using was for. When it was time to trim my ends....that's exactly what he did. He didn't get scissor happy like some stylists or go Edward Scissor hands on my hair. I was very pleased with the results. My hair is so flowy and has so much volume. It's absolutely lovely!!

The salon is very modern and jazz music is played lightly in the background to make you feel at ease and relaxed. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be returning. Hope to see...

I made an appointment for last Friday with Robert. He is very skilled and knowledgeable about hair. He take very good care of you as his client. He is very friendly with a good sense of humor. He likes to get to know you as his client. I love my cut he did. It's short like I wanted it. I just need him to go more we extreme the next time with the style.
