I wanted to share my experience with this business. It was my first time visiting, and I usually get my nails and other services done elsewhere. Before planning my visit, I reached out to them to check if they could offer me a good price. I sent a picture of the nails I wanted, exactly as shown.
Unfortunately, their communication was poor from the start. They initially gave me the wrong price on Instagram, assuring me they had all the rhinestones and materials needed to match the picture. When I arrived in the evening, I didn't have the option to leave and go elsewhere, as I had a flight the next day.
Upon arrival, they informed me that there had been a miscommunication and that they couldn't honor the quoted price. Given the time constraints, I proceeded with the service but was not satisfied with the outcome. I requested a discount due to the miscommunication, but they refused.
I had already purchased a Groupon for other services, totaling around $500, and felt obligated to proceed. During my visit, Sammy provided most of the services, and I was initially pleased with her work. My disagreement was with the nail technician, not Sammy, who handled my lashes and other services.
In November, I attempted to book another appointment for lashes and other services, and I had even recommended this place to many people. However, Joey, the owner, informed me that Sammy was not available. Instead of addressing my concerns directly, he provided an unconvincing excuse for her unavailability. This response was unprofessional and disappointing, especially given my previous experience and the amount I had spent.
I initially tried to be understanding, as I believed Sammy might genuinely be busy. However, when I reached out again recently, I received a similar response. This pattern of communication raised concerns about their commitment to customer service. I felt it was important to express my dissatisfaction, as I own a business and understand the importance of addressing customer concerns. Unfortunately, I was met with resistance rather than assistance, which has left me disappointed.
Overall, I wanted to make others aware of my experience to ensure they approach this business with caution.
P.S ( edited review after the owner replied) Firstly, I would like to address my recent experience at your salon. I had an issue with my nail technician regarding the rhinestones. I had to select a different style, but the rest of the design was the same. Despite providing a screenshot from Instagram and showing the nail tech the work, they argued and didn't offer the same price. This led me to request a discount, as it was not my fault.
Regarding my lateness, I was indeed stuck in traffic. However, staying late was not my fault either, as the nail techs were not quick. Sammy did an excellent job with my lashes, head spa, and pedicure. My complaint is solely about the false accusations and overcharging after a price was committed. My total came to around $270, and my Groupon was for the head spa and pedicure. If I am spending more, I expect good customer service. I do not support businesses where the owner, like Joey, does not value customers and behaves unprofessionally.
Before my appointment, I texted Joey and sent him screenshots of our Instagram chat. I even spoke to him on the phone, and he clearly stated that if a price was given on Instagram, it would be honored. However, upon arrival, Joey acted as if he knew nothing about this agreement. This lack of communication is unacceptable.
I provided everything with proof, and there was no misleading information. My nail tech was different from the one who did my pedicure, and Sammy did the head spa, lashes, and waxing for my full arms and legs. She was proficient in all services except waxing, as she applied too much wax repeatedly. Despite this, I was initially happy and recommended your salon to my friends. Girrlllll lemme tell you, that was INCREDIBLE! Best $110 dollars I’ve ever spent. First you get a herbal foot bath while you pick out your aromatherapy scent and face mask. Then you are led into a private room with such great ambiance. They lay hot rice packs with your aroma scent on them on your face, abdomen, hands, and feet. They did some light ASMR with multiple different tools that sent chills down my spine in such a good way and get you ready to relax. The first step is the facial massage and multiple facial serums and creams. Then they rub your head and hit all the pressure points they can find in your neck, head, & face. Then they steam your face and use stones and tools to rub and massage your face and scalp. Then comes the face mask and lip mask to stay on while they start to rinse your hair. I have NEVER had my scalp rubbed and scrubbed so well. They shampooed it multiple times and scratched and rubbed my scalp and neck and shoulders and arms and hands and ears. They put a masque on your hair and steam tent your scalp while they continue to massage. Then comes the ear wax removal and more massage. I swear my sweet lady had the hands of an angel and put just the right amount of pressure. They then blow out your hair and do a scalp analysis and a little bit more massage. Read moreI’ve been here two times and both times it was very pleasant. All the staff is very friendly and always greets you with a smile. I don’t feel rushed and I really like the services I’ve gotten so far. If you like head scratches I totally recommend the head spa service. I did the basic one to start and I really really enjoyed it. It’s very relaxing, and afterwards you feel very clean. Hopefully I’ll be able to try the vip head spa service next time. I also got a manicure and a vip pedicure and they did an excellent job. Both nail techs made sure I liked everything and always made me feel comfortable. Totally recommend this place. I am really bad with names but I think the head spa tech was Miss. Jesi ? I need to come again to ask for her name again.
