*UPDATE: the manager reached out to book a re-clean since I was not happy with the results of the first cleaning. Rudy came and he worked hard to remove the stains by hand with a brush! He was very thorough and took his time. I definitely see a difference now. The stain is faded and barely noticeable now. I will definitely be calling Rudy back for some more work.

Initial post: I got my rug steamed cleaned by Steam Master and am not happy with the results. There are some simple food stains that did not come off and for being a $262 professional clean…I don’t think it was worth it. This is how much a basic steam clean cost for a 9x12 rug & that was AFTER a discount (initially priced $432 + $28 environmental fee + tax). If you want a basic clean, then it’s more cost-effective to rent a carpet cleaner and do it yourself. It’s kinda crazy to think my initial quote was $804-$1180 (this includes their recommended special treatments that each cost you an additional $50-$200). My main target area was a yellow vomit stain from when my son was sick. When I look at it now, it basically looks the same. So I don’t think the steam cleaning really did anything.They did give me a heads up that they might not be able to remove the stain completely but I expected better results than this. There was no attention to detail or really any extra effort to get other stains out.

There was also some miscommunication with the technician about the price which made this experience even worst (I thought my sectional couch was also being included). Turns out that was an additional $264.

FYI: They don’t give any prices or quotes over the phone. They will set up an in person apt with you first to go over prices. Which I find even more inconvenient.

If you’re thinking about getting your furniture cleaned, make sure you understand the breakdown of the quote they give you and that any of their special treatments (which you will most likely need for stains) will...

Update: Sorry, Steam Master, I have nothing against the work of Shaun and Garrett. And I will likely use them again, but I am dropping my review from five Stars to three stars and here's why. I scheduled a crystal polish for my floor before it came apparent that we were going to need a lot more work in the house and would have contractors traipsing in and out of the house over that floor.

So I canceled the appointment, and I let them know that I would reach out to reschedule when possible. I wasn't going to forget, it's something that I would do. Since then, I have received countless calls from someone called Ileana, peppering me with voicemails and phone calls.

I have asked her twice very nicely but very clearly to stop calling me, that I would call back to reschedule. I am a cancer patient, and I have been in the hospital, and I have had work done in my house, and if I'm resting I do not need to be disturbed. And she said that she would make note of that and let me call them, but she will not let up.

Shaun and Garrett came out to shine our hot mess of a marble entryway and did a great job. It was laid down only 4 months ago, but due to improper sealing and cleaning, it was a hazy, scuffed mess.

We went just for a good clean & shine right now since we want to get it fully buffed up to a shine and protected after we get all of our furniture deliveries, and wow, what a difference. And no mess left over. Glad we found this company, will use again when we need the floors...

I had a pipe leak in my ceiling, which resulted in a bunch of nasty water flooding a carpeted area, and Michael S and his team came the same day that I called, and not only took care of this problem (which I thought was going to be completely irreparable) but also cleaned all of the other carpets in my home for a very reasonable price in half a day! They turned what could've been a disaster into an actual huge improvement in the quality of my home! While they were here they also cleaned some furniture and left everything looking spotless and smelling fantastic. From the person who answered the phone, recognizing the urgency in my voice and sending someone the same day, to the professionalism of Michael S and his team from the moment they arrived, I cannot speak highly enough about these services. Most importantly, they got the job done, but also did so being very polite, kind, respectful, and with very reasonable fees considering the extent of the work. I am selling my house, and I think the investment in cleaning will be doubled by the wow factor of my spotless carpets! I don't think there's much worse for a homeowner than recognizing that you've had dirty water leaking onto your carpet for three days ...but they completely deescalated what could've been a giant emergency and turned it into something good. Cannot thank them enough and would recommend highly to anybody. Even if it's not an emergency, just get your carpets cleaned. It completely...
