These guys are rock stars in the computer business. When my 5 year old computer crashed during a move, I panicked. No one told me it would be as easy as it turned out to be. Most people said if the hard drive crashed, my computer was trash. Since I am not in a position to purchase a new computer, I spent time looking for something refurbished. It led me to this company and one other company near my home.

The other place was pretty scary in a warehouse with no air conditioning and a folding table to greet customers. Top Tech Expert's place was a bright retail storefront and it was clean, well organized, and staffed with two true experts. I looked at the refurbished computers (4 days after my current computer crashed because I was still panicking.) Undecided, I came home.

At this point, I remembered an external hard drive I thought was disconnected. When I took my computer and the external drive to them, they were able to restore everything, including my Microsoft 365 account. Since my computer is essential to my business as a ghostwriter, there was a lot of data I was afraid to lose.

Despite my panic, I follow the principle of "All's well that ends well." I will never panic about computer problems again as long as Top Tech...

Update: after several months of perfect performance, my new pc suddenly would not start up. We took it in to Dan, and when he could not find the problem, he impressed me by exchanging the tower for a working one for free. This level of honor and consideration is so rare in modern business practices. I hope everyone who reads this gives Dan at Top Tech Experts their business, he surely deserves it. I admire this place. This computer repair shop is a great example of small business run right. I had a great customer service experience with Dan, a guy you can count on to be smart about computers and most importantly fair about price. When I brought in my computer he found the problem right away and, though my poor old dinosaur PC was too old to repair feasibly, had a great offer on a refurbished tower and monitor setup that was more than adequate. I have visited Top Tech two times in the past. First time I bought a used laptop and it has been working great for two years. The second time I had a problem with my primary computer - it would not complete the boot-up process. Yikes. So I called up and Alex said they would perform a complete diagnostics on the computer and call me the next day. I asked him how much for the service and he said the diagnostics is FREE. Wow, what a service. The next day he called and said my computer diagnostics were ok and it was booting fine for him. Hmmm. Maybe the car ride over to the shop shook loose some of the wires or dog hair. I don't know. But he was right and now it is working like a charm. And the diagnostics was free. Before leaving I looked at his repair prices and they were VERY affordable.
