Mi Casa de Sabor — Restaurant in Houston

We arrived and the music was soo loud you could barely talk to the people you came with, also there was a lady constantly screaming on a microphone which was not pleasant at all.. me and the person I came with ordered caldo de rez, we waited about 35 minutes for it which is understandable but when we got it, only one of our soups had meat in it and the other one had a huge chunk of fat, when we said something and showed them, they told us they wouldn’t do anything about it and if we did want more meat we would have to order another caldo.. which is $15.99. Way too expensive for soup with only fat in it. We had high expectations when we arrived seeing that they had great reviews but we left with a horrible taste in our mouths after they did nothing to resolve the problem. On top of that one of the girl servers had such a horrible attitude she walked away when I was talking mid sentence.. if I could leave this place 0 stars I would. Service was...

Just a fair warning, this place is spanish speaking only. I went in and found that out. HOWEVER, the lady who took my order worked with me using a translator and asked any questions needed which I really appreciate. She was super friendly and funny even with the language barrier I received exactly what I ordered. The food was amazing I got chicken pupusas and a water. Those were the best pupusas I’ve ever had and it was very fresh and flavorful. I would love to go back again sometime and I would highly recommend this place. Once again, to the lady who took my order and seated me, thank you for assisting me even through the awkward language barrier....

We walked in and Spanish music was blasting. We ordered 2 caldo the res soups, the wait was forever, when my caldo de res soup arrived I noticed it was nothing but fat no meat if any, I ask if I could get more meat and they said I would have to order a new order which made no sence, because they bowl already cost 15.99 and was not worth it at all. Very very disappointing at this restaurant, which my daughter and I will never ever visit again, restaurant owners just lost an every Sunday morning/afternoon customer. There was no way this restaurant made 4.4 stars...
