The one word that comes to mind about this restaurant chain is mid. Super mid. The ultimate mid. Everything is a add on for a price. Strong 2.5 stars. Y’all know me, got the tonkotsu spicy. It was $15 dollars. The flavor was OK, but not my type. It more so bordered closer to flavorless, more than it bordered flavorful. Was not spicy. I had the creamy, thick broth consistency, that I like. The pork was a good quality, but there was not much. It was that soft pork that kind of melts in your mouth. There were thick noodles, I don’t like thick noodles because it doesn’t soak in the flavor well. But of course you can change that for a price that I remember was way more than $1.99. Quality of the vegetables was is really good. For the price, definitely not worth it. Oh yeah, got the Gyoza, not worth it either. The pork in the gyoza was super chewy like it was some kind of pork bologna basically, or pork nugget. This was the first ramen I ever tasted on the northside location on FM 529 in 2018. This is what made me never want to try restaurant ramen ever again. I had got the chicken ramen back then, and it literally tasted like pack noodles. So underwhelming. Mid and underwhelming.

Was looking to eat Ramen while I stayed here in Houston due to a delayed flight. This had almost a 5 star rating and I was intrigued. FYI not a lot of seating. Not a big deal to me at the time because I came alone and the ramen bar was empty. Was immediately greeted and seated. Also was attended to almost immediately. I ordered a drink and edamame to start and, although the drink was strong, it was very good. They do give you options to choose to customize your own bowl or menu options if you’re unsure like me. I decided on the spicy chicken ramen and it was delicious. I do wish they were a bit more generous with their meat. My waiter was very attentive and frequently checking to see how I was doing. Another thing to note, it is a bit more on the pricier side. My drink was about $14 each and I got 2 and my bowl was also about $17. Give or take on the costs. Regardless, the food was great. The drinks were great. Ambience great. Good service. Honestly, I recommend this place.

We came christmas eve to the closest ramen restaurant that was open. It wasn't busy and the staff was wonderful in taking care of us. The hostess promptly greeted and sat us. She announced we were there in Japanese and handed us our menus. The server then came by with a beautiful smile and grated us to take our drink order. My husband and I ordered the plum wine which was sweet and delicious. I ordered my appetizer, the jinya bun, and it was tasty. Our food order was taken and brought out quickly. I ordered the shimp wonton ramen. All the ingredients were visible from the top and the noodles were THICK. I usually have a hard time finding restaurants that serve thick noodles. I was so happy to see it in the menu. The ramen was hot and tasted like heaven. It warned up my soul. Great dinner and lovely service. The place was beautiful and the staff was gracious. 10/10

Excellent Ramen, very friendly staff, average prices, nice ambiance, and conveniently located near memorial city mall. We stopped in to try the ramen after seeing the excellent reviews, and we were NOT disappointed.

Azim was our waiter and he was very pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. The service was very fast and we were checked on numerous times which was great.

We ordered the chicken salad small plate, which was out of this world. Amazing. They did not come with enough chips for the amount of chicken salad. We requested more, however, they charged an extra $2 for more chips.

We then ordered Jinya chicken ramen, Spicy chicken ramen, and a Charshu chicken rice bowl. All were excellent with good flavor and served piping hot. The portion size is very large.

Our only complaint is the bathrooms. There are two single occupant bathrooms, one for men and one for women. I tried to use the bathroom and had to wait 20+ minutes to get in after an employee went inside. I almost had to walk next door to use their bathroom. Very inconvenient and the only reason for deducting one star.

Overall very good ramen and food. The price for 3 was about $100 ($120 with tip). No alcoholic beverages or dessert this trip either. So the price is basically average, but the food and...

As a first-time customer at Jinya’s Spring branch, I was thoroughly impressed with both the atmosphere and service. The restaurant was incredibly clean and well-organized, creating a welcoming environment from the moment we stepped in. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a pristine space.

Our server, Jackie, was absolutely delightful. She was attentive, sweet, and took the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations. She made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal, all with a warm and genuine smile.

What stood out even more was the overall atmosphere. The manager and the rest of the staff frequently checked in on us, making sure our experience was top-notch. It was clear that they genuinely cared about the customers, and the positive energy among the staff was contagious. Everyone seemed to be happy in their roles, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, the combination of great food, attentive service, and a well-run, clean restaurant made for a memorable visit. I will definitely be returning to Jinya and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful...
