Green's Floral Shop — Local services in Hubbard Township

If I could give Greens floral ZERO stars I would. From the bottom of my heart this place has haunted me since my wedding in 2021. They should have been bashed on Facebook but I was too embarrassed to post for my friends and family to see how upset I was about the arrangements. This place is actually pathetic. I went in twice and the 2nd time with an actual visual example… I’m an art major so I do like perfection and I wanted them to see exactly what I wanted. I’m very organized, them.. not at all! They assured that they would give me the correct eucalyptus, which they gave me the seeded eucalyptus. Not discussed at all. There is a huge difference in greenery that can change the appearance of a centerpiece. The 3 floating vases were not at all the same size which I was assured that they would be. Pathetic and they looked really hokey. We added $500 more to the bill for 2 LARGE white roses for each centerpiece (12) tables and I was given 1 white rose the size of a dandelion. So embarrassing. I had to call them right before I walked down the aisle to come back and fix this horrible mess and they added a few pieces of the correct eucalyptus that I asked for. It looked like weeds thrown on my centerpiece. It’s almost like they had a shortage of what was needed and ran out and gave me whatever was left in the store. My husband worked hard to cut over 12 3” logs for the centerpiece display for this occasion and they butchered it. Thank god I brought extra fake eucalyptus for the head table and cake table or it would have been super bare. The gazebo at the country club had none of my beautiful large mums as discussed. 2 for each side. 4 total and I got zero but an ugly small “Florida” looking plant that I did not sign up for and definitely no where near my style. It looked like I said “buy whatever you want” I busted my butt to customize this wedding the way I wanted it and they didn’t give me anything that I asked for. I could have went down to colonial gardens and have got the mums myself. This wedding was held in October. The white gazebo could have been decked out with my mums and it was literally stripped of nothing on it as if it were the “rehearsal”. They took all of my toule that I purchased and never put it out and I never got it back. My gazebo was bare!!!! A 30k + wedding and “dream wedding” ruined by these people. I almost thought that they gave away my arrangement or made a mistake to a different couple, that’s how absurd it was. They never gave me a receipt or I would have sued for $ back. They’re extremely lucky. They will talk a good talk in the store but can’t handle what’s asked of them, even after a visual example brought in. Shameful and disgraceful. Flowers are the entire wedding. Thanks for ruining mine! Zero stars, Do not recommend. My fake eucalyptus put their real flowers to shame and that’s unbelievable, just keep it mind. Prices were good, flowers were nice, delivered nicely. I paid for a cascading bouquet and that’s not at all what I got. I also paid for 4 hanging baskets at the pavilion for the ceremony. I believe they tried to tell me at the beginning they didn’t think there were hooks for the baskets, but I assured them there was. Fast forward to the day before the wedding. They called me to tell me they went and checked out the pavilion themselves looking for the hooks and they weren’t there, that instead they could make one flower arrangement to have behind us. I told them “there is definitely 4 hooks,” but they clearly seemed to not want to do these baskets for some reason and I didn’t have the time to deal with it as it was the day before my wedding and they called while we were setting everything up before we had to get ready for the rehearsal. I said to do 2 floral arrangements on pedestals to have on either side of us because our minister would be behind us. They did do the two flower arrangements. And I just assumed they would supply the pedestals because those also weren’t there when they checked the pavilion out themselves and I don’t have time to go out the day before to buy 2 pedestals, but I assumed wrong. Extremely disappointed. I chose them for my wedding, and loved our first meeting with them. I gave endless amounts of photos, color scheme and ended up with nothing I wanted but my bridesmaid bouquets. They were just baby’s breath with terracotta ribbon. Obviously easy enough. My boutonnieres were the wrong color, barely filled and nothing like the photos we discussed. My bouquet that was to be cascading… did not, AND wrong color. Corsages wrong color and couldn’t even be worn by the moms. My colors were emerald and terracotta/ rust. I got pink everything. They dropped everything off and left without asking for a mom or me, the bride to check if they were correct. Never answered any calls, or emails and were extremely rude to us when we went in person to ask what happened. I guess they are right, something does go wrong at a wedding.
