Extra Space Storage — Local services in Hudson Oaks

I needed a storage unit TODAY. I called multiple places, some of which were completely filled, others that only had units that were too large or too small for what I needed, and even more that were just charging too much for the size of their units. Extra Space was one of the few that had what I needed at a reasonable price.

What made me choose Extra Space over other options was the customer service. Despite being new, Rhonda was a PRO. She made sure I knew what all of my options were in terms of unit availability, pricing plans, and what would work best for the items I needed to store, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

I helped someone move out of their storage unit here & it was absolutely vile & disgusting. The unit had been infested with rats & feces was all over everything. They also store a camper on the premises which had the windows busted out & vandalized. No security cameras to reference footage from. Apparently, even though your personal property is on this business' property, they will not take responsibility for damages. This place is overall poorly taken care of & maintained. For the thousands of dollars spent at this place, it would have been more beneficial to buy a storage shed for their backyard and store possessions. Left my unit at the first of the month paid in full. I was going to keep using it for the remainder of the month while I moved. They rushed me out only to double book the unit to make more money. I paid 95 dollars a month and they placed someone in my unit the day I left. The office personnel stated she would give me a refund and someone would call me next week. Never received a phone call and when I called they stated that they had a talk with her and they apologize she shouldn't have said that. The guy started explaining that ther owners do not refund anything and that they have tried to help the customers but have been shot down. Poor...
