Long review, but bare with me. RideNow/RumbleOn dealerships have a bad habit of tacking on mandatory fees to recover anything and everything, even if its not justifiable. $2000 in fees above MSRP on new, $900 in fees for used, this is before TTL. Had two identical sport touring bikes I was looking at setting right next to each other. When I say identical, same year, make, model, color. One sold, one didn't, the next business day I started working on a deal. The one that didn't sell compared to the other, had double miles, no hard bags, more damage and only one new tire (vs two on the other). They wanted the exact same price, and only offered a parts credit for the damage/missing items, which their parts prices was 30% higher than almost every genuine parts house online. Would not budge. Then started arguing about how new MSRP, that bike is worth this much, cared nothing about what the actual market value was, that it was two years old, asking was around $1000 more than what market was for it. The parts credit was far away from offsetting the difference in value. Made absolutely no sense. Sure did not care what MSRP was for my trades, which were in pristine condition. Do not look to have a mutual negotiation, if its not entirely in their favor, it won't happen. Take it or leave it attitude, fair or not fair, they know they can get it. I know they need to be profitable, but their is middle ground to where they get decent profit and the customer gets a decent deal. Obviously the business is not managed well, they apparently have way too much overhead, but hey, they got a new huge dealership going up to "serve" you in the DFW area. The only way to change this type of dealing is to not accept their nonsense dealing/fees, and go somewhere else, even if it is further away. I had a stellar experience elsewhere, just had to drive a little more. The prior dealership all the way back to their roots as Longhorn Powersports, was my go to, been buying from them for 25 years. After the last two attempts to purchase machines, I will not be back. The culture has completely changed and most of the guys that were there before are gone. Sad because this was not the vision of the original owners. This all happened when RunbleOn/RideNow bought this chain of dealerships (and others in the DFW) monopolizing the market. I ask dealerships now before I even start to work a deal if they are in any way affiliated with RumbleOn/RideNow. I gave them two stars for cleanliness of the dealership and the parts credit they tried to work in, that is a slight improvement over the deal I tried to make a...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience with the Weatherford RideNow in late February 2025 with a pre-owned Motorcycle. Jack was the salesman along with co-workers Gary and Brice. I went to RideNow to see the Motorcycle that I was interested in. I saw it on their website. While I was there, I made a verbal offer to Jack. When my offer wasn't accepted, I decided to pursue other pre-owned Motorcycles elsewhere and no longer pursue this one. At this point, I wasn't disappointed in my experience there.
Then, a few days later, Jack proactively called me. I wasn't expecting a call from him. Jack left me voicemail that RideNow would take less money than my original out-the-door offer because they needed to make room for their incoming Watercraft inventory. In addition to Jack's voicemail, he also text me a picture of the RideNow Worksheet out-the-door price. As we all know, the out-the-door price is supposed to be the final price.
While I was driving to the Bank to obtain the out-the-door funds then drive directly to RideNow to purchase the Motorcycle, I received another text and call from Jack that he had made a mistake on the out-the-door price that he left on my voicemail previously and that he had text me. I called and spoke to Gary (I asked for a Supervisor) who said he would talk to the GM and get back with me soon. 24 hours later when Gary didn't follow up with me, I called RideNow Weatherford again and spoke to Brice because Gary was unavailable. As I create this Review, 10 days later, Brice hasn't followed up with me either. There's a pattern here.
Although I have not purchased a Motorcycle from RideNow before, nor an ATV/UTV, Watercraft, etc., I have had a Motorcycle serviced at this RideNow before and I've purchased accessories on numerous occasions there.
As a result of this very poor Customer Service experience, I am no longer a Weatherford RideNow Customer. There are too many other places that I can take my Business that truly care about the Customer and the Customer Experience.
I'm hopeful that others will benefit from me sharing my poor Customer Service experience at...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE!! Make sure this dealer has a clear title to the vehicle they are selling you! Freedom Powersports Weatherford sold my husband a Polaris with a 1st lien, owned by someone else. He went to what he thought was a "reputable" dealer in fear of this happening when purchasing from an individual. Never did it cross his mind to "check out the dealer" to be sure they had a clear title. He financed and took it home. As a responsible owner, he insured, added upgrades and performed routine maintenance. When he paid off the note early, the title never came. He called the bank, several times, requesting title, still never came. Called again, they said he had to get it himself. That that was odd! He Spent hours trying to accomplish this only to find out it was owned by someone else and still had a prior lien over a year after his purchase from Freedom Powersports Weatherford. He even had to pay for the report to find that out!! What a shame to pay off a note only to find out it is not even yours and cannot even get a title. What if...it caught on fire....was stolen....or even worse...a Game Ranger ran the serial number and accused him of being in possession of stolen property. Can you just imagine the nightmares with that? ....insurance would have accused him of fraud and he would of been out of the Polaris and all that money. The Game Warden would have confiscated it and possibly taken him to jail. Of course, all are worst case WHAT IFS but all very probable scenarios with extreme complications to resolve. He paid the note off November 2016 and he did not receive title in his name until May 10, 2017, via snail mail. They did jot even take care of overnighting it. He spoke to GM and emailed CEO. CEO never acknowledged receipt to and Freedom Powersports never showed any remorse or offered apologies for their MAJOR FAIL. Let's be clear, there would not even be 1 star if it were possible to review with out it. Buyers...don't make his mistake...be sure there is a clear title to...
