Brothers Butcher II — Local services in Hudson

The food is good and the manager is nice and reasonable, but there is a guy working for him that is such a jerk, I can't stand to go there any more. I have had several run-ins with this guy, and always give him the benefit of the doubt. Today they short-changed me on meat and when I called him on it, he said, "Next time, I can write down that you want it EXACT, but expect a piece of a pork chop might be cut off." If you say there is going to be 3 pounds of hanger steak in the package, that is what I expect. Don't tell me you gave me .18 extra chicken to make up for it. If your chicken breast is slightly too big, or you lose a little because you have to give me a little bigger piece of steak to make it 3 pounds, that is the cost of doing business and making a customer happy so they will come back. Talking over the customer on the phone will NOT keep that customer. This guy doesn't want my business, so I will no longer give it to him, even after having gone there for years now. I Love this Store & they are the most friendliest staff I have ever been to for a Butcher shop. Every time I come up to Mass or Hudson NH area I make sure I stop in all the time. They have top choices selection of Meats & they will do whatever you ask them to. I Moved to SC & there is no Butcher shops down here that Compares to this Shop. Now in SC they have 0 idea what a Chinese Sausage (Redsox sausage) is. I told them I was heading back home & they Helped me with 12 Redsox Sausage making it air tight & I pack it into an ice cooler & made it home with 0 problems. Had a BBQ & cooked those Sausages for my guests & they was the 1st thing gone, all 12. I even buy Lush’s Cookies that they sell at the store well those didn’t make it home, I ate them all before I could get home besides 1 cookie which I promised my wife at least 1 Lol…. Her words, Wow…. This is the Best Cookie i ever ate. The bourbon Steak tips are Amazing to also 1 of my Favorite. Overall this place is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ every day...

Went there twice, three months apart to redeem $50 in gift cards. Both times I got the lame excuse that 'the machine is down but will be fixed tomorrow'. Of course, the manager had to appear from out back as soon as I mentioned a gift card to the attendant, practically jogging to the register even though there were only two people in the place (and three workers). We got these gift cards from our boss for Xmas presents, and all four of us got the same BS line when we went to redeem. Nice operation. Makes you really want to trust the quality...
