Hudson Smoke Shack — Restaurant in Nashua

Really good bbq, but not enough food. I ordered a 3 meat plate for $30, and paid a $9 upcharge for beef short ribs... Ribs is a bit of a lie though, because you got a single rib (admittedly it was a large rib, but a single rib nonetheless). A small serving of brisket, that was mostly straight fat (again the meat was delicious, I'm not eating a straight glob of fat though ), and 2 pork ribs. I also got some carrots. That's my only complaint about the food actually, they have basically none of the traditional bbq sides, and no corn bread. So i paid $49 after tax and tip and left hungry. I don't know about you, but I don't think that's ok. It's not like I was absolutely starving when I stopped by for lunch either.

The food? 9/10. The staff were nice enough as well. The amount of food/value for what you pay? Unacceptable to me. I have spent a lot less at other bbq places and had leftovers...

This food truck packs a punch when it comes to their food! I ordered an O.G. hotdog, a Steak Bomb Sub, a kids smash burger, Onion Tings and Jalapeño poppers.

Needless to say there was nothing left but crumbs. The steak bomb was absolutely delicious. Cheesy, creamy, full of steak onion mushrooms and peppers, salami and pepperoni on a foot long sub. I mean, so yum.

The hot dog was demolished in about 3 minutes flat. The onion rings were very good, crispy, salty and full of flavour. The poppers were just as I like them, spicy, creamy and crunchy.

The burger was eaten with little to no complaints from the child, so I count that as a win.

I got the 3 meat plate and my bf got the burger with pulled pork on it. The 3 meat plate was NOT holding up to their standards and the pulled pork was dry, ribs were tiny and old and overcooked(my bf bit into one and you could hear the skin crackling) and I had to get a second portion of the ribs since they were out of brisket ( you only get two ribs ) Their Mac and cheese was OK but I expected it to be better!! That plate was not worth $30!!!. The burger was alright for the fill but the taste wasn’t there, pulled pork wasn’t pulled it was smashed barely any sauce on it. Only good thing was really the Brussel sprouts but our stomachs did start...
