I have been going to the Farm Girl Flea Market events every May, September and the big Christmas at Countryside In November for years. My family and friends always find items to repurpose/refurbish and many handmade items. There are things for everyone. The May event is happening this weekend. It was open yesterday from 4pm to 8 PM and today it will be open from 8am to 4pm. The tickets to get in for today are $5.00 per person 12yrs old and up. If you go on Friday for the early sale the ticket price $15.00 but that will also give you entry for both days. Just tell them you want the band for both days. The Fri/Sat. times are always the same for all three event every year. They are huge and we usually go both days so we can see all of the booths in the several large barns and all the open areas. They have everything you can think of for sale, from home decor, clothing, food items, wood and metal items, antique and vintage items, books....way too much to list. They have a live band playing and food/drink trucks and tables and chairs to sit and eat or just listen to the band and public restrooms. There is plenty of free parking in lots next to and across the street from the event. This current event going on right now doesn't have as many vendors filling the outdoor area as previous ones but still has a ton of vendors. My girls and have decorated our homes with handmade and repurposed items we have bought at these events over the years. I highly recommend going to one of their flea markets, especially, the Christmas at Countryside one November 25th...
Read moreThe Farmgirl Flea market is a phenomenal indoor/outdoor event! It starts Friday night, 4-8, which is perfect for a date night with music and food and adult drinks. It's $15 entry, but your wristband gets you in both Friday night and Saturday. Saturday is $5 for 8-4. If you have that wristband, though, you don't have to wait in a possible line! There is so much to see, so both days are highly recommended! The owners are very organized and selective. They make sure the handcrafting vendors are interesting, unique, and varied. Lots of pickers/antiques! NO MLM groups like Norwex or Pampered Chef. The Spring sale is in May, Fall in September and Christmas at Countryside (indoor)...
Read moreThis truly is a pretty flea market & the weather always seems right. We went on the first evening it was open but didn’t realize how much more the entrance fee was ($15 x $5). I guess they charge more on Friday night so you can have the 1st look and avoid the merchan from being picked over…. Honestly $15/person is way too steep & not even sure if all the booths were set up. We won’t be back on a Friday night in the future, even if entry is “free”...
