I dealt with Mark when I went to Jensen not knowing what to expect. I imagine there are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable gold/silver/jewelry buyers around the Grand Rapids area so it was gratifying that he took away the apprehension by talking me through the process. He answered all of my questions no matter how silly they may have been and made me feel very comfortable with his explanations. I've traded in certain collectables before, mostly cards, comic books, and sports memorabilia so I understood that they were entitled to some profit and I thought that what I received for the items I brought them was more than reasonable. I inherited what I thought was a lot of "junk" a few years ago and it sat in my basement until the "covid plague" struck and I decided to go through it and get rid of it. Disappointed and Heartbroken as a Mom

My son bought an engagement ring from Jensen Jewelers — he spent a significant amount of money on it, trusting that he was getting something of real, lasting value. Sadly, the engagement didn’t work out, and when he recently went back to Jensen to sell the ring, they offered him only $200. That’s right — a fraction of what he paid.

I understand jewelry depreciates, but this felt incredibly unfair and insulting, especially coming from the same place he bought it from. There was no compassion, no effort to work with him — just a lowball offer with no explanation.

As a mother, it was hard watching him go through that — not just the emotional side, but feeling taken advantage of in such a vulnerable moment. We expected better from a company that sells items tied to some of life’s biggest moments.

Think carefully before you buy from here. Ask about resale value, policies, and what support (if any) they offer down the road. I wouldn’t want another family to go through this kind of...

I have no vested interest in this shop, but I can’t say enough good things about my experience yesterday. Unlike many coin shops I’ve been to that were crowded, dark and sometimes staffed by “coin experts” with quite a limited scope of knowledge and expertise, coupled with a lack of communication, this shop was spacious, well, lit, beautifully laid out and well equipped with the latest coin technology. All four employees with whom I came in contact were genuinely friendly, hospitable and helpful. The lady who attended me, Hannah, was as professional, informative, and communicative as I have ever experienced. Her honesty and integrity were without question as I concluded after having done a little honestly test without her knowing. Also, I found her knowledge and enthusiasm about coins to be very uplifting and motivating.
