ALDI — Local services in Huntertown

Although convenient, the latest Aldi on Dupont Rd. has all the new features, but none of the personality of some of the other stores here in town. Seems very cold and impersonal. Not that shopping should feel like visiting a friend, but at the very least, one shouldn't feel like a bother or an inconvenience for merely being in the store. There are a few employees that never acknowledge your presence and continue to behave as though the shoppers are in their way. This isn't a one time thing, like a bad day that we all can relate to. It is every single time we encounter them, the same rude demeanor and "bothered" attitude!! Even if we're not asking for any assistance!!! The other locations always had familiar employees that said hi, even if they were busy. I will only stop in this store if it is absolutely necessary!! Otherwise...this store's employees are its biggest downfall. Maybe an Amazon warehouse, where there are no actual people, would be better suited for these folks!! I haven’t seen a specific product in a couple weeks that I normally get. I happened to find 1 of that item hidden behind some boxes on a shelf where the item used to be. I asked an older woman, brown hair, if they’ve stopped selling that specific item. She said “but you found it” and I explained there was only 1 and I haven’t found this item for a couple of weeks. The food very slimy no matter if you get it soon as they put it out in the shelves or not. The dog food made my animal sick and throw up.
