Jake's Barber Shop — Local services in Huntington Beach

Worst experience at a barbershop I've ever had... ever! This place is unorganized, clicky, circus, hangout barborshop. If you want to go and wait for an hour to an hour 1/2 trying to get a poorly done haircut then I would go here. If you'd rather an organized professional run establishment ... go somewhere else. You wait hours for a haircut that I could do better myself. You will be passed over for buddies of the unprofessional barbors and friends of the shop. I will not ever be going back! Cannabis is freely passed and used at this establishment.

I never honestly considered buying my own clippers and scissors to cut my own hair, rather do that to save more of my time and the extreme hassle this shop brings. My time is valuable and they have no consideration for anyone elses time but their own. Hence the 6pm early close time... working professionals cannot make that close time and are forced to come in on a busy Saturday. Good luck.

This place should be called "FAKES".

Needless to say, super disappointed, Was trying to either "walk-in" or make an appointment but was ignored.

Literally no greeting from any employees upon me "walking- in".

After waiting awkwardly for 4-5 min. The shop phone rang and the employee closest to me (like 6ft max) answered and quickly made an appointment over the phone without ever acknowledging me or why i was there. Why would anyone do that? What if that appointment time was when I wanted?

I guess the cardboard price board should've been the first clue that I was in the wrong spot.

Years ago I enjoyed this Barber shop. Recently however customer service quality has decreased. I was there a Saturday morning and waited for 40 minutes for a haircut. Even at that point there was still 3 people ahead of me. They had only 2 barbers (for a Saturday?) and third one that arrived late and still was unable to start work. My last time there (which I can say with confidence) I was charged $20 for mediocre hair cut. Hopefully your experience...
