Honestly, this mid-grade review is more of a complaint on the on-line mishap, and had nothing against the store or the associates. I placed an order on Jan 19 on my phone to be shipped to store. I wanted it for Lunar New Year. The app kept saying that the order was being processed. I missed my opportunity to call, because something came up. Two weeks came and no update in the app, no email, no text notification, so I finally can call them (mind you this is after Lunar New Year). The girl tells me it's there, and I tell her I'm on my way. I go to customer service for pickup, as the overhead sign indicated, and wait in line. She directs me to a bin system at the back of the store. I was confused, but proceeded. Honestly, if it wasn't for a kind associate who asked me if she could help, if it was my first time to pick up (back) there, and helped me figure out that the lady at the front of the store told me the wrong bin number, it could've been worse. But she was so nice, and even let me open the package to make sure I got the right thing. I carried my package through the store and browsed tshirts and bras. When I discovered that they had this order going to the wrong address I called and the customer service person said sorry it was already in fulfillment. So I called back and got another representative and he helped me get a refund on what I purchased. But here is the reason I am only giving Kohls one star. The process is so flawed I may never do business with them ever again. First of all the package had not shipped yet ;so they could have easily changed the shipping address. But for some reason they can't do that. Then I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get a refund since it was going to the wrong address. They were quick to take my money but they said it would take seven days to get my money back. Also they do not send confirmation of a refund via email so you just have to hope you get your money back as there is nothing to assure you the customer that indeed you will be getting your money back. Read moreThe store states it closes at 7. So I drove over an hour to pick up my online order. I click on my Kohl’s email link stating I arrived at this time it was 655. I popped my trunk and got out to adjust things in my trunk when I look up an employee was walking out locking tbd door behind him at 659....I stated to him that I had an online order to pick up and he told me the stores closed. How can they be walking out and locking the door before 7pm??? I ended up canceling the rug I purchased from kohl’s and spent my money at another store. I guess Kohl's doesn’t mind loosing sales so employees can go home early. Please Correctly state your hours, If you close at 7 then actually close at 7. employees shouldn’t start closing procedures before. There is a process to close a store and closing procedures shouldn’t start until after 7. If anyone is wondering if you can grab something last minute at a store before they close DON’T go here.
