Fresh World is a fantastic addition to the area! The produce selection is top-tier, with fruits and vegetables from around the world that are always fresh and perfectly ripe. It’s such a relief not having to make the trip to Falls Church anymore for quality international groceries.

Their halal meats have also been fresh and flavorful—everything we’ve tried has cooked beautifully. I am attending the grand opening of the newest Fresh World Market is alexandria today. The place was really packed as they had so many promotions going on. The place was really nice and all the shelves were fully stock up. I had recorded quite a few videos showing the place with customers. I will update later after checking out.

Update: Checking was really quickly, all lanes were opened. They have a free gift grocery bags if you purchase $100 or more. I definitely will be coming here from now on as it is only 15 minutes away. I will not be driving to Springfield...

Aisles organized by region as well as type of food; tons of choices for all Asian grocery items, extensive vegetable and fruit selection, including hard to find items. Also extensive Latin American and Caribbean grocery selection, both fresh and frozen for all international foods. Good prices on meat and fish, huge variety of cuts for both. Clean and well-stocked, offering samples on a Sunday. Friendly employees. They also have a good kitchen wares department and a few Asian food court options for a quick bite near the front of the store. Beer and wine also....
