Authentic Filipino Cuisine — Restaurant in Virginia

I have never been so insulted by a restaurant owner in all my life. My daughter found a dead, cooked roach in her food and was told it must have come from her apartment. Please tell me how a cockroach crawled into her egg foo young, cooked itself and died! Then she was asked how much did she eat out of the $40 worth of food delivered to your home. This should have never been the question! She could have taken one bite & found it or eaten all of it but the one bite, the point is it was in her food, first bite or last! All she asked was for a full refund; she was told she would get back $6.31 for the egg foo young because that is where the roach was found. WOW great that’s a relief, I say sarcastically, as she is crying horrified of the sight of this dead roach wondering if this was the only one or was there a family of them cooked with the rest of the food as well. Ya $6.31 should just about cover that; NOT!! I did not think this was right so I called on my daughters’ behalf thinking I could reason with them. The same thing was told to me as it was to her. That they don’t have a bug issue and it must have come from us. Then the owner started saying Americans are always trying to get free food; you eat it all & say you have a roach or you didn’t like it then want free food because of it. How very insulting and degrading, she then says sorry I don’t know what I can do for you. I said its simple & you do know what to do, stop blaming her and take responsibility and give the full refund. Needless to say I did not get that. Instead I was asked for my number so her attorney could call me because this has never happened to her. I ask, if this has never happened before then why are you say people call you all the time saying there was a bug or something wrong with the food, just so ”Americans” can just get free food. The most horrible part is my daughter had been feeding this to my 8 month old and 3 year old grandchildren. We are not the kind of people to call in false accusations. We are a loving family doing the best we can with what we have. Truly thought calling in and explaining this situation would result in a full refund. Didn’t think it would have turned into a battle. Edit: I finally got a chance to order from here again, and forgot to put “no broccoli” for my general tso’s, and they remembered! If i could give them 5 stars again, I would, and my partner is also sold! Will forever be my go-to for takeaway!

1000/10 for this place! How did i not know it was right around the corner?? They’ve got a huge menu selection including all of my favourites at the best prices. The quality of the food is top notch, not to mention that the portion sizes are bigger than other places ive ordered from! I usually get half of what i got for this price at other restaurants, with ok quality for most of it, but everything here was AMAZING and I’m going to have leftovers for the next few days. DEFINITELY ordering from here again and leaving a much bigger tip because 20% for this quality doesn’t seem enough. I don't care about the other comments here I love there Orange Chicken. Very Iarge pieces of white meat cooked to perfection in a very sweet sauce. I had a very negative experience at another Chinese Carryout. It was the wrong Order it was Spicy chicken and broccoli when I went to complain the lady said that's what I asked for when I showed her the spicy red peppers and how dark the sauce was she changed her story and said this was there orange chicken even though I lived in the Fort HUNT area for 33 years and have ordered orange chicken from them before she just didn't want to accept that she made a mistake and didn't want to give me another order or even offer to return my money.

Any ways ladies and gentlemen come to this Carryout and give them the opportunity to amaze you they in my own humble Opinion have the best Orange chicken and Perhaps more great items on there menu.
