Despite being an older theatre, the Movies Imperial has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the management and service here is subpar at best. Letâs begin with the doorman who wonât allow you into the building unless you have a ticket already purchased, not even to use the restroom or make line for the concession. It would make more sense to have an employee check tickets at the entrances of the hallway theatre. Itâs completely ridiculous and made us 10 min late for our movie. Next, letâs discuss how on a Friday night when a new Marvel movie has just been released, hot dogs are not readily available to order. You have to pre-order your hot dogs and then wait 10 min for them to be âcooked to orderâ. The first time we bought our snacks they just told us to come back in 10 min and didnât tell us we had to pre-pay, so when I went back in the middle of my movie 10 min later they said they were out of hot dogs and I had to wait another 10 min for them to cook me one because âthey donât want any food to go to waste before closingâ. Stupid. Hot dogs are too cheap to be this much of a hassle. Lastly, get ready to play bathroom roulette trying to find a stall that has a working lock. Iâm all about supporting small business but this place needs some serious changes...
   Read moreI was very upset tonight going to this Movie theater and I have been going for 30 years. I purchased a candy for my son and he asked to exchange it for another candy and the older lady that worked at the register was very rude and said no and if I wanted I can talk to the manager so I said yes. I waited 8 minutes and she kept working as if I was not there waiting all for the manager. I asked again if the manager was coming and the other worker said she will ask. I was ignored again. So I asked the first older lady I asked and she was rude again and said I would have to wait 30 minutes. I said the movie starts in 1 minute and she said well then ill have to wait. She raised her voice at me twice and when the manager came I explained the situation & she kindly resolved my issue and apologized. The older lady had the nerve to come to us and explain her side of the story but again with a very rude voice. She never once apologized to me. That is horrible customer service!    Read moreJust got back from a showing at Movies Imperial and don't plan to go back. I stopped at the refreshment counter and bought popcorn for myself and nachos for my husband. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but nachos are tortilla chips with nacho cheese and a few jalapenos slices if you like additional spice. I ordered the nachos for $5.50 but noticed I was charged $1.25 for "extra cheese" when I'd not asked for any (nor did I see this "extra" cheese anywhere). When I went back to inquire, I was told their nachos were just chips without cheese and they routinely charge the $1.25 extra in order to put cheese on the order. Obviously, you can't be charged for "extra" cheese when there is no cheese to begin with! False advertising and a rip-off, if you ask me. No apologies and no refund for the nonexistent extra topping.
