Market is open on Saturdays till the second Saturday in October from 9am to 1pm. There are only 2 more Saturday's till the market closes up. The Market is located at the Clarkston Community Education Center, 6558 Waldon Road, Clarkston, Mi. 48346 Not only does the market have locally grown food, there is also a variety of locally made items. You can find locally grown broccoli, cauliflower, squash, zucchini, microgreens and flowers. As well as bakery items, fresh eggs and sweets. As far as locally hand made items, there was jewelry, artwork, hand sewn items and much more. First thing we noticed were several new local vendors and a few vendors missing from the prior week.

Drove in on a Sunday morning and had a great time. Yes maybe a few more vendors but this is June and a lot of items may not be ready as of yet. Really nice clean set up, with live music. All the tents are the same and well organized. Good selection of different high quality items that a market should have. Spacious and tons of parking, with all the vendors being very pleasant. Only draw back is the cup of ice wth black coffee for $5.00 when a regular coffee is $3.00 and change. Hopefully be back again next visit from across the border to visit family.

I must confess. I primarily buy banana bread, cookies, bread, cheese, and bagels. They are so much better then vegetable. I have have a 30 dollar a week habit. I buy tomatoes to make BLTs. The heirloom ones are the best. Also my wife like the coffee, the one with whipped cream. Also like to pet the doggies as well.

This was our first time at the market and we were really impressed. It was quiet because of the rain, and so we had time to chat to the vendors. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, happily sharing how they grow/make their products. Everything there is local and grown/made as naturally as possible or organic. The plants on sale were healthy, the food and coffee were delicious, and the vegetables were freshly picked. There were many other things for sale such as jams and preserves, maple syrup and honey, soaps and creams with natural oils, candles, bug sprays, and baked goods. Many had samples. So glad we discovered this gem! We’re definitely looking forward to the addition of more fruits and vegetables as the...
