Depot Park — Attraction in Waterford Township

Beautiful park. Great playground for all ages. The river and the gazebo are outstading to contemplate or for a photoshoot sesion. So peaceful and joyful. After spending some time here you can walk to the main street where you can find so many restaurant options to grab a bite, ice cream shops, coffee shops or to do some regular shopping. Amazing park for an amazing city. There is a paid parking lot, and clean restroms are available. There are picnic tables as well. Dog friendly thou leash required. There's a little free library. Depot Park is a beloved gem in the Clarkston area. It has a sparkling river running through it that is frequented by ducks and swans. There is a gazebo, benches, and a large playground. Recently large metal flowers have been added along the walking path that passersby may hit with the mallets there to produce notes and make music. Medium size park in downtown Clarkston. River with ducks and geese, tons of goslings when we were there. Picnic tables and benches in sun and shaded areas. Several play structures geared toward different age groups. Swings and a merry go round, many unique toys. Walking and biking trails run throughout the park. Nice restroom!
