I absolutely love this place!! It's fun to just walk around and look at all the great stuff the different vendors have to sell. If you're short on time it's still fun to go in and browse some of your favorite ones. I've gotten it down to some of my absolute favorites that sell my favorite things to buy... Like my favorite Stickers, My favorite thing since I was a kid has always been Grab Bags, ANY KIND of Grab Bags. Just the mystery of what's in it. My FAVORITE Diva Lady bags, now I know it's a bit steep but I can't help it, it doesn't matter how many she has I just have to buy them ALL!! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!! I'D BUY MORE IF I KNEW WHEN YOU PUT THEM OUT!! 😁 Then, there's the $5 Grab Bags but there's NEVER MORE THAN TWO when I go!! So that's all I can ever get!!☹️ "I think it's mainly like a sports store" my Daughter's words not mine. HINT HINT I'D BUY MORE IF THERE WERE MORE AND IF I KNEW WHEN YOU PUT THEM OUT!! 😁 NEXT are the T-shirt & Sweat Shirt Grab Bags in the back of the store. I am saddened that there hasn't no longer been any sized 1×, 2×, or 3× Grab Bags or ESPECIALLY ANY MULTIPLES OF THE 3 SIZES, in BOTH the T-SHIRT & SWEATSHIRT VARIETIES. NOW if this should happen to occur, say at a Time when I would Know about, I would be More than OBLIGED to BUY EVERY SINGLE ONE YOU HAVE IN THESE SIZES AND VARIETIES!!!😁 And to my Mystical Chrystal Lady I buy up all of your mini "Grab Bag" of sorts too. This time in the form of a Coffin, a Cauldron, 3 Orange Cats, 2 Ice Cream Cones with a Cherry on Top, ALWAYS get your STICKERS too. Many more things I get from you as well. None of these were in any particular order at all. You are all...
Read moreI was a vendor at merchant square for a couple of months and the traffic and sales were great! They do a great job hosting events and drawing traffic to the store however now the bad. My booth did become victim to theft which I know is a risk that one takes opening a booth so I put a locked case in my booth. On a Friday the manager witnessed a gentleman in the booth messing with the locked case and assumed it was me, however it wasn’t, if there was ever anything suspicious he should have approached the gentleman and talked to him, great customer service deters any theft. The next day I went in to stock my booth and noticed my case was broken into and I approached the desk and the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful however there was no manager on site so they were waiting for a reply and about 15 mins after talking to the lady a male cashier comes up to us and was like wait I knew about this I just didn’t report it. So not only did the manager see a gentleman in action, it was reported from a customer and I never received a phone call from the cashier.
The next day my wife went in to the booth to freshen it up from a busy day of sales and noticed a shelf fell off the wall and the broken items were missing, I understand things break but the lack of communication from the management team there is the reason we left.
We then also tried to post in the Facebook group to inform other vendors of the theft and to just keep a closer eye on things and if they could to add a camera however this post was denied by the admin (manager) because they were trying to keep it a secret and not...
Read moreThe Merchant Square Antiques, Boutiques, Unique is a lot of fun to look at and my husband and I really enjoyed the experience. However, here is what I wish had gone differently. I found four items from booth 535. I took the four items up to the counter. There was no line and three women working the check out counter. Two were busy doing something close to nothing . The third lady was so busy on her phone she didn’t even know I was there. I said hi and asked if I could leave the items here while I continued to shop and if they would call the owner of booth 535 and ask if they would take 10% off the purchase. I would have bought the four items either way at that point. The woman who was shaken away from her concentration into her phone said I can’t do that. I asked why? Now the other two women were ready to lend a hand. One said, they won’t let us. Of course I asked, who is they? The woman said the store owners. I walked away from the counter irritated with either store policy or lack of effort to get off the phone and do their job. I ended up going to EBay while standing at the checkout counter and ordering the same four items and paying shipping for less than the price of what I was willing to pay until the three women aggravated me. So either by store policy or the lack of employees to do their job, if I was renting a booth at Merchant Square and could have sold $48 I would be irritated to not have the opportunity to...
