Went in to pick up an online order. The young lady in the back told me she'd be right with me. Then a young man came over to help... Had more shopping to do and noticed the same young lady was shopping for another online order. Not sure when she thought she would be right back?
Finished my shopping and went to check out. One of the prices was incorrect, and after the same young man who helped me with my online order helped an employee, who came up after me, check her items out, he finally came over. I told him about the price then asked me if the item was in the wrong place? How am I to know that? All I know is that several items were in a row for the same price which was not what was showing up on the register. I told him never mind, if he wasn't going to check I was going to leave everything. I took the item that I had picked up from him, from my online order, and he accused me of stealing as I walked out the door. What the heck? He's the one that helped me get it and trust me, Target is not busy today!! It's not like he had hundreds of people picking up orders and he could not remember who I was. It had been less than 10 minutes. In fact, I even said to him that was taking my online order and he could keep the rest... I will go back to Blue Springs where they are helpful and not accusatory. Heck, even Walmart is better than...
Read moreI love this Target. This is my go to store. The Customer service is awesome and the employees are always willing to help you with anything you may need. The store is always clean. They have everything you want for a one stop shop. They are very well organized, you can always find whatever you're looking for. I've been in many stores that just don't seem to care whether things are here or there, let alone where they belong. Here you won't find aisles set aside for a hodge¡podge of things, like in other stores. You know where things are supposed to be by the well placed labels/signs throughout the store and that is where the things will be. You are actually welcomed here too not in the bothersome or intrusive way but where you don't have to hunt throughout the store or chase someone down who is trying to elude you just to get help finding something or to ask about something, because they are readily working throughout the store putting items back where they belong when someone has opted not to buy it and didn't want to put it where it belonged, stocking, cleaning, taking inventory, whatever is needed they make themselves available for their customers. I frequent the Independence store on 39th street. Very...
Read moreDear Target, I want to SARCASTICALLY thank you for hiring staff that arenât of color (aka White) that are assumptive and believe customers of color (like myself) are stealing. As I was finishing my purchase at the self-checkout, at 7:30 pm this evening your cashier assumed I was placing items in my purse and came up behind me loudly yelling, âHey guysâ and proceeded to place plastic bags on top of the bag that had my item in it. She decided to stand there and watch me, failing to realize my RED card was already in the machine processing the payment. If i wouldâve caught the girlâs name, I would share that too, but itâs fine, because i spoke with Jessica, a Trainer, prior to exiting the Target in Independence, MO. She reassured me something would be said to the cashier, but didnât care to ask me which cashier it was, so Iâm not sure if sheâs even able to tell the person that acted so ignorantly and blantantly profiling that she was in the wrong and have possibly lost a customer,...
