On a positive note the food was great! But the service was terrible and I have waited tables bartender and managed in restaurants for 15 years so I understand the difference between poor player I’ve or an overwhelmed waitress.w we were a party of 7 they gave us 1 tiny loaf of bread that doesn’t even have 7 slices (we ordered plenty of food but took like 45 min or so to come out) it was like they had a limit on bread per table not per person like a table with 2 people gets as much bread as a table of 7 I have 3 teenaged kids. I appeared that our waitress was avoiding our table like the plague my husband and I watched our waitress check on every other table around us as we waited to order margaritas and more bread we eventually had to flag her down. Once we got our food the bread trays were not cleared the old water glasses from when she brought new ones weren’t I sat for quite some time with stack of plates in front of me as well as my other family members as other waitresses and staff walked past paying no mind to it. As well as the hostes were on their phone giggling at the host stand I eventually picked up all the plates and put them on the nearest table. If I had not of been on a time limit We would have left before our food came and ate somewhere else. If a manager is reading this this accursed between 5 pm and 6pm 10/14/20 the staff working that shift could use some training. Just because a table is not in your section doesn’t mean you can help out. I hope there’s cameras and you can review our experience. I will say we were out side all day and not dressed in our Sunday’s best I can’t help but think our server assumed we may not be good tippers based on our appearance... but in fact we are excellent tippers 20% is the minimum we actually own a successful construction company l, and work hands on with our crew so we rarely “look...
Read moreThe manager Cheyenne is a horrible example of customer service!!!!!!!! Tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Longhorn and we are long time customers. (Backstory) we’ve been trying for 2 days trying to prepare them that we were going to have a large party there for a 60th birthday party for my father in law. 4 phone calls we were told to call back, call back day of and speak to manager. Today we’ve tried at least 4 times to call and figure out how we go about this blah blah blah we were told to call back closer to time. So we call at 5:30. We call at 5:30 and explain the situation and the long process this has taken. Cheyenne proceeds to tell my mother in law that she doesn’t like her tone and that if she continues to talk to her that she is going to refuse to serve us at all and seats us on complete different sides of the restaurant. At the end of the conversation she says it’s a 30 minute wait and they will seat us once we get there. We all get there at 6pm which is the time we told them and we are told they don’t know when they can seat us. We waited for over an hour and a half watching large tables that were here after us be seated. We asked the hostess how much longer and she said there was one table they were waiting to get up that had been there since we had gotten there (1.75 hours). The hostess said that the manager Cheyenne refused to ask the table to leave even though the waiters and waitresses had asked for them to get up. This was a clear example of horrible customer service! We had been in communication with her manager who was very apologetic but was on vacation and unable to handle or help us in person. Longhorn you have lost a large group of 15+ loyal customers who come every years for the last 6 years for...
Read moreWe came here for my birthday because I wanted steak. We arrived and were seated within 10 minutes.
We waited quite a while before our server took our drink order. She did mention I'll be there in a moment within a few minutes. When the server arrived, we ordered drinks and food.
We waited maybe 5 minutes and our drinks arrived with bread and my salad. The kids devoured the bread. The butter was probably right out of the fridge and hard to spread on the bread ( typical of most restaurants ) I thought the ceaser salad was OK, but would have liked more dressing than what it had but never saw the server to ask.
Our food arrived and I'll say my food was good. Steak cooked perfectly. My baked potato was delicious. The kids Mac and cheese was like kraft macaroni and a bit disappointing. Fries were good.
We never received a refill. Asked for dessert. Dessert was good. There was hardly room for dessert on the table as the server never pre bussed anything. All the empty plates remained. The bread board, my salad plate, the appetizer plates ( we didn't need ) Server had many opportunities to remove dishes such as when she took our dessert order.
We received our check and asked for to-go drinks because they never got refilled. Server was friendly and apologized for not giving us great service, she maybe had a over size section or possibly new. She was friendly just busy...
Food was great but probably one of my least...
