It started out ok; we were seated right away and our waiter came over immediately to get our drink orders. That is pretty much where the positives ended. We waited ten minutes to receive our drinks and order our food, which also took several tries because our waiter did not speak much english. My dad got some kid of steak skillet (had to send it back because he spit out literally every piece of steak because it was gristle or too tough to chew), mom got the "senior" turkey platter (about $3 cheaper than the regular one but also didn't have very much food on it, although that may be the norm for the regular one as well; IDK since we didn't get a regular platter), and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (which thoroughly confused our waiter and I had to explain to just put in an order for a cheeseburger and add bacon to it, finally just saying to give me a cheeseburger with a side of bacon and I would add it on myself; fun fact the kitchen figured it out and made it a bacon cheeseburger). Our food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time, but then we never saw our waiter again. I needed a drink refill for about 15minutes and we could not get a single person to stop and talk to us. I had planned on getting a desert to take home, but the service was so bad I changed my mind. We finally got someone to find our waiter and get us our ticket after about 10 minutes of being finished and went to pay. On aside note, the "smoking area" outside is RIGHT next to an entrance so you literally walk through a cloud of smoke to get inside. I won't be back here, but they can have a star for the cleanliness and a star for the manager being pleasant and...
Read moreLol. This place is a joke. Went in because I had a buy one get one fund raiser card. After we are served our food and we're eating it we are told that we can't use it with one of the meals. It was never mentioned when the waitress suggested it. So our $20 meal came to $48 with tip.
Pretty good meal when it comes with free pie. But my eggs Benedict with free pie cost me almost $18 the last time I was there. Waitress said girl at register would take off pie. Girl at register couldn't figure it out. Said the extra was tax. I don't believe tax on $10 would be $8.
Was contacted and told they would fix the over charge but never did. Sent me an email and no follow up. Haven't been back since. Don't know if over charges have been fixed or not for free pie. Not worth it.
Went again because friend wanted to go for her birthday. Was given bill with no mention of pie. Asked manager about free pie. She went and got a tray with pies and went table to table handing them out. I guess no more on the bill because they can't figure it out and no one gets pie unless someone asks for it. Lol
Tried a 3rd time because I like the food. I've decided they get awards for whoever gives out the fewest pies on Mondays. I was given my food and check. Noone ever came back. I asked about my pie as I was at the counter checking out. If I didn't mention it they sure werent going to tell me. Eggs Benedict wasn't as good as usual either. They used a piece of salty ham instead of Canadian bacon. ...
Read moreIt's not a happy thing to get terrible service it's frustrating and maddening. Were we profiled as a bad tipping group, was Adam having a long bad day, was it SOMETHING/ANYTHING ELSE? Arrived 9/8/2022 at 7:55. Adam pushed two tables together for our 5 adults and one child, providing a highchair for the baby. For the next 14 min we sat waiting for ANYTHING, no drinks, no I'll be right with you, nothing. He had two other tables? Ok three but one was done and paying. Finally Adam came asking for drinks and we ordered at that time, all choosing breakfast items. Got food at 8:40 pm. Food was good. Only asked for one additional item..... extra butter. Adam came twice to the table/booth right behind us. During his second trip I caught he eye and asked "butter" he looked as with an exasperated demeanor? He brought one tiny cup of butter holding it in front of my face "butter" as though it was a hardship, making me reach for it while eating and caring for the child. ADAM was not alone, there was a staff that was helping check out and restock pies....another brought one of the trays of food to our table. Lastly I had to speak into the kitchen to call someone to check us out and pay as the rest of the family headed to the cars. Adam wasn't kind, helpful, efficient, a server. We didn't ask for anything special, unusual, weren't loud, messy (even picking up babies crumbs as best we could) I don't think anyone even needed a drink refill..... He was truly unkind to our...
