I previously have had my dog groomed here 3 times and have always had a pleasant experience. However, this past time I was informed I would be charged a $25 hazard fee to groom my dog because I pre-medicate him to help ease his anxiety. Each time he has been groomed here, he has been praised for his good behavior. Never once did they tell me that he was difficult or that his grooming took extra time. I usually drop him off and pick him up in 2-3 hours.

I could understand being fined extra if he was aggressive or a danger to the staff. I could also understand being fined extra if THEY were the ones to tell me that he needed to be medicated before his grooming appointments in the first place. However, I have always been a responsible pet owner and done what’s best to ease my dog’s anxiety and to make it easier for the ones grooming him by medicating him beforehand.

The manager Claire, just called me to inform me why there would be a fee this time. Apparently when my dog is groomed, 2 time slots are blocked off to get his grooming completed. I informed her I have never been told this and that he is usually done in 2-3 hours. I asked what the average time for grooming is and she told me 2-3 hours is normal but she could not tell me why he took up 2 time slots. Therefore, I am being charged $25 extra for my dog taking an average amount of time to be groomed. I was told he gets a little sleepy and it makes it more difficult to groom him but they are still able to complete his grooming in a normal amount of time. Until now, they have never informed that he was too sleepy or that him being sedated made it more difficult. It just doesn’t add up.

I was told that if I did not medicate him I wouldn’t be charged the $25 extra but that if his grooming could not safely be completed they would have to send him home and I would be charged for what they were able to complete. So either way I run the risk of being charged for an incomplete job or pay extra to ease my dog’s anxiety by pre-medicating him.

I told them out of courtesy that he is sedated but I guess that was a mistake. If you need to pre-medicate your anxious puppy, it is best to not inform the groomers or else you too will be charged a $25 hazard fee. I will be taking my business somewhere else, where my dog’s wellbeing is prioritized over making a little...

Had a grooming appointment schedule , estimate given was 2 hours. was received by the receptionist who was pleasant. As he called the groomer out, the first thing i noticed he was obviously high on marihuana. He then proceed to ask me questions with a lot of hood attitude. like how i wanted his hair cut, and if it was our first time getting groomed... It was the first time i had taken my dog to get groomed as i have been doing it my self, he seemed upset by the answer, to which he replied back that i should have started getting my dog groomed when he was 8 weeks old (when he didn't had any fur i guess), and if that was the case he will just cut what the dog allows him to. not sure how a professional groomer would have issues cutting his hair when i don't, and i am not a professional groomer . regardless after the fact he said it would be 3:30 to 4 hours to get the service done. i decided not to leave my dog behind as this person did not look like he would be gentle or was dog person at all, plus his attitude towards me might reflect on the dog as well. i just asked him to cut his nails, and by the sound of it, he was quite rough with my dog, and was not able to complete the task. worse...

took my dog storm here and had such high hopes based on the reviews and even my first impression but the quality of work by cece was disappointing. we had a long consultation when i arrived so i thought storm was in good hands but it looked like she just shaved his body down and called it a day. he’s a lot shorter than i anticipated with no shape to the cut, very patchy, and had random hairs sticking out everywhere that some scissor work could’ve easily fixed. his sanitary area and paw pads were still pretty bushy as well. the groom was rushed and lacked detail. they let me come back and cleaned him up a bit but had an excuse for everything. it felt very passive aggressive and a waste of my time. the place was really cute though, they had play pens instead of kennels and cameras throughout. i think my experience would have been a lot better with a...
